Dr. Sang Y. Kim was chosen for the combined accelerated program after high school and attended University of Pennsylvania for his undergraduate studies, and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine for his degree in dental medicine. He completed his general practice residency at the VA hospital in Palo Alto, CA, affiliated with Stanford Medical Center. After his residency, he has practiced as a successful cosmetic and restorative dentist, making over many new smiles. Dr. Kim aspires to achieve perfection, without compromising comfort and by staying at the forefront on the latest technologies in dental science. In 2011, he started Dental America of Queens, a private office in Elmhurst, NY. With growing and great support of our staff and patients, he established another practice in Ridgewood, NY Ridgewood Dental Care.
Dr. Marvin Baptiste attended Cornell University for his undergraduate studies. He is a graduate and received his DDS degree from Columbia University School of Dental Medicine. During his time at Columbia U., he served as the 2008 President of the Student National Dental Association and was one of the founding organizers for the first annual NYC Oral Cancer Walk. Following graduation, Dr. Baptiste went on to pursue his specialty training of Orthodontics at Howard University. He is also currently pursuing a MBA degree with a concentration in finance from Hofstra University. Along with his many accomplishments, Dr. Baptiste is passionate about his profession. He has great chairside manner, is personable, and loves what he does.
Dr. Vanita Mudgil graduated and received her DDS degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. She went on to complete a one year general practice residency program at Mount Sinai Hospital and spent another three years of specialty training at NYU College of Dentistrys prestigious advanced education program in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. She is a board certified periodontist and also holds a position as an attending specialist at Lutheran Medical Center. Dr. Mudgil is thoughtful, and certainly an experienced clinician in the field of periodontology and implant dentistry and uses her expertise to care for each individual in order to improve ones overall health, function and smile.

My experience was very very beautiful. The office personnel were very courteous and amazing making an appointment is like so quick and easy. And the Dr he made me very comfortable they talk to about the procedure that you are about to have. so yes I will continue being a patient..

I honestly feel bad that I have been going to this dental office for over 3 years and I haven't given any review until today. Very accommodating staff the dentist is very personable and gentle. Thank you for being there for all of us. Good Bless you all.

Called this office SIX times to make an appointment on several different occasions. Goes to VM every time. Horrible service. Don't trust the reviews they're probably paid.

I get anxiety with just the thought of having to go to the dentist but this visit was different. No pain! It really was the best cleaning I have gotten in a long time. Shout out to Melody for taking her time and being very gentle to my sensitive teeth. The office is also super clean and neat. They see you at your scheduled time too. I liked everything about this place so glad I left my old dentist.

I like this place the office very clean. The first time I was impressed. Today, called this office many times before my daughter appointment . Goes to voice message every time because I tried ask if its possible they can see my daughter before her appointment or to reschedule. They staff never helped me . I always received a "NO" and they makes appointments that are far after to 2 o 3 months. I didn't like missing appointments sometimes we had personal circumstances. Definitely I'm not happy with the service. I believe I have to move from this office.

This office was beyond my expectations I had an appointment scheduled but cracked a back tooth before my appointment I called and they took me the same day for my emergency Dr.Kim and his assistant were great, he fixed my tooth no anesthesia no pain at all AMAZING,I went in today for my scheduled appointment and another amazing experience my appointment was for 10 I was called in right away and the hygienist took my xrays and did my cleaning saw the doctor for a full dental exam everything was done in a timely efficient matter the office and experience I had with everyone was beyond what I've experienced in previous locations I will definitely be coming here for all my dental needs HIGHLY RECOMMEND VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EFFICIENTLY RAN OFFICE THANK YOU DR.KIM AND HIS STAFF

Went to their new location on 287 wyckoff. Been going here for a while. I love it here and let me list the reasons why 1) appointment are always on time. Every appointment I scheduled I have been seen on time. If my appointment got pushed back (which never happened) I'm confident the receptionist would let me know. 2) cleanliness- office is super clean and neat. 3) informative- questions about pricing, co payment and out of pocket expenses are always answered 4) location - L train to wyckoff ave and a short walk 5) staff- they are all so nice and sweet. Lovely people.
