Dr. Anne Tampke says her calling as a dentist is not only to diagnose and treat oral disease, but to help people feel like the best version of themselves. 'The best part of my job is boosting patients ' confidence by improving their oral health!' she says.
Dr. Tampke grew up in Leawood, Kansas, and currently lives in Kansas City, Missouri. She earned her degree in Human Biology from the University of Kansas, and achieved her DDS at Creighton University. She says she loves working at Ridgeview Family Dentistry because it allows her to serve the greater KC community and show patients that the dentist 's office isn 't a scary place to be. 'I like always being part of the solution!'
When she's not helping her patients improve their smiles, Dr. Tampke can be found enjoying the company of her West Highland terrier, Gigi, playing tennis, going to the farmers market, and cooking a good meal. She said if she could have a year off to do anything or go anywhere, she'd travel to Scotland to go hiking with her dog.

I brought my elderly mother to this dentist. Dr. Tampke was kind and listened to our concerns. Instead of making light of our concerns, as other previous dentists have, she instead gave us her thoughts. She explained why she thought we were having problems and gave us possible solutions. She was absolutely wonderful and we are looking forward to our treatment plan. The office staff was very nice and helpful and explained everything we asked.

I felt very comfortable at this dentist. Everyone in the office was very personable. The hygienist and the dentist explained every step they were taking and often asked if I was ok. The reception explained the cost of treatments very carefully. We are new here and I am recommending this dentist to my sister.

My first visit and it was an emergency appt - I can't say enough how happy I am to have them as my Dentist - I went in with a lot of pain and anxiety- anxiety mostly because I had never been to them. They absolutely addressed my issue and it was NOT painful. I give them 10 stars!!!! This is my Dentist from now on.

I came in with a problem with 2 of my teeth. The technician and dentist were very professional in getting to the root of the problem. Both teeth had to be removed and the procedure was done professionally and in a timely manner. I felt very little pain. Considering this is only the second time I have been to a dentist in 46 years, I felt it was a good experience. The rest of the office staff was very friendly snd helpful. A very good experience considering the work that was done on me. I would recommend Dr. Tampke and her staff to anyone.
