In 1997, Dr. Dana Jones opened Ridgefield Perfect Smile Center to provide compassionate, expert dental care with an emphasis on patient education. A 1991 graduate of the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, he is equally committed to continuing education for himself and team. Dr. Jones has participated in numerous courses and seminars, including the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies and The Hornbrook Groups Ultimate Occlusion and Full Mouth Synergy. He is also a graduate of the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. He has trained extensively in dental sleep and obtrusive sleep appliances, as well as Invisalign. In addition, Dr. Jones received advanced training from New York University and served as a clinical teacher at NYU Dental School.
Dr. Jones has been a Ridgefield resident for almost 25 years, where he and his wife, Janet, raised three children. His daughter, Chelsea, graduated from Princeton University and currently resides in Barcelona and his son, Griffin, graduated from the University of Maryland and lives in New York City. His youngest daughter, Olivia, currently attends Fordham University. Away from the office, Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with his family, attending sporting events, and supporting the Mets. He is an avid golfer and runner, participating in the Leathermans Loop Cross Country Race each year.
Dr. Jones is proud to have been named Dentist of the Year at the Mrs. Globe Pageant 2008. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of Comprehensive Esthetic, and Academy of General Dentistry. He is also part of the American Academy of Clear Aligners and Fairfield County Dental Club. Dr. Jones is a member of Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity and a former faculty club member of the Spear Institute for Advanced Dental Education.
Dr. Franzese joined our office in the fall of 2007 following her completion of the General Practice Residency program at Danbury Hospital. Prior, Dr. Franzese earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ (UMDNJ), where she served as president of the Student Research Association. Dr. Franzese was privileged to present her research on the impact of oral hygiene practices in the prevention of hospital-acquired nosocomial pneumonia at the NJ Dental Association Annual Meeting and the ADA National Student Conference of Dental Research in 2004.
During her early tenure in the Ridgefield and Danbury dental communities, Dr. Franzese quickly developed a reputation for providing compassionate care. Her natural empathy and understanding of the patient experience is supported by an education that includes caring for children, the elderly, and medically compromised patients. In addition to her Doctorate degree, Dr. Franzese holds a B.A. from Virginia Wesleyan College in Virginia Beach, VA, where she double-majored in Psychology and Health and Human Services.
A Westchester County native, Dr. Franzese moved to Ridgefield in the summer of 2006 with her husband, Adam. Together theyve since welcomed their children, Jack Michael (2010) and big sister Ella Marie (2007). Dr. Franzese is an avid skier and enjoys hiking with her family. She is involved in local parenting groups and enjoys time with her children and friends at local playgrounds and parks.

Jennifer is our office manager, ensuring that all aspects of your treatment and visit meet your expectations. As a registered Dental Hygienist, Jennifer also has over 20 years experience working in the dental field. Her attention to detail, passion for her work and desire to see her patients given the best of care helps her make each patient's visit to the office a pleasant experience. Her career includes an Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene with a certification in nitrous sedation and local anesthesia. Jennifer has completed many continuing education programs with Dr. Jones and his wonderful hygiene team to provide patients with the highest quality of technology and care. When not working to brighten your smile, Jennifer spends her time with her three children Julia, Andrew, and Eliana, and her husband Andy. She is an avid outdoors fan, enjoying boating, snow skiing, and travel.
Cindy is a friendly face that will greet you when you visit our Ridgefield, Connecticut dental office. Assisting in all aspects of the dental office, Cindy will ensure that all of your dental needs are met and that your office experience is pleasant. Cindy and her husband, Michael, live in Redding, Connecticut and have two sons, Matthew and Brian. In her off time Cindy enjoys gardening and skiing with her family.
Debbie joined our office in May of 2008 as a Dental Assistant. She assists Dr. Franzese most often, but fills in as needed throughout the office. Debbie graduated from Westchester Business Institute in White Plains, NY, and prior to working in a dental office she worked for Reader's Digest for 9 years as an Administrative Assistant. Debbie brings her people skills to our office to make the patients feel comfortable. Debbie enjoys spending her free time with her two children, Sean and Ashley. She enjoys baking, spending time with family and friends and being outdoors, boating, skiing, dancing and traveling.
Sophia has been in our office since 2011 as an assistant and has just recently joined the team at the front desk. She received a bachelors degree In Communication studies from Western Connecticut State University in 2017. She enjoys spending time with her fianc Bryan, her one year old niece, cooking and hiking on her spare time.
Marylou provides you with many years of experience as a Dental Hygienist. She continues to enjoy her role as a patient educator and clinician, while keeping up with the latest dental advances. Marylous extensive training includes a degree in Dental Hygiene from Middlesex College in New Jersey. She received her degree in Dental Anesthesia from the Fones School of Dental Hygiene in Bridgeport, CT. As a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association (ADHA) she continues her education every year. Away from the office, Marylou enjoys traveling with her husband, Jeff, and spending time with her two daughters, Marlee and Callie.
Ashley graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Bridgeport in 2009. She immediately completed her board exams and become a certified member of the ADHA. She has volunteered her time in Roatan, Honduras to bring both oral hygiene instruction and much needed care to a third world country. Ashley spends her free time hiking with her husband, Adam, and boating on Candlewood Lake.
Jennifer is a 1996 graduate of the University of New Haven School of Dental Hygiene and began her career in Orthodontics as an assistant in 1991. A graduate of The Hornbrook Group Team Program and member of the ADHA, Jennifer strives to provide patients with the highest quality care and education. When she is not working, Jennifer is with her husband, Sean, and their three children, Liam, Sarah and Jack. Jennifer enjoys spending time at the shore, kayaking and biking with her family.
Kayla graduated from Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport in May of 2013 with her Bachelor of Science. She is certified in delivering local anesthesia. Her daily goal is to promote good oral health and take care of her patients in the best way she can.
Kayla and her husband Steve currently live in Southbury with their young daughter Avery and their baby son William. Outside of work, Kayla enjoys spending quality time with her family and running. She has completed the 2016 New York City marathon and is currently training for the Chicago Marathon. She is happy to be part of such a dedicated team here at Ridgefield Perfect Smile Center and we are happy to have her!
Jackie has been a part of the Ridgefield Perfect Smile Center family since March of 2012 as Dr. Jones assistant. She is happy for the opportunity to now be one of his Registered Dental Hygienists! She graduated in June of 2019 from Goodwin College in East Hartford, CT with her Associates in Health Sciences and Associates in General Studies. Her goal as a RDH is to gain confidence and trust from all of her patients and provide them with the highest level of care possible, just like theyre a part of her very own family. Outside of work, she enjoys spending her free time doing outdoor activities like hiking, snowboarding, qauding, and boating. She also loves spoiling Boots, her cute tuxedo cat.
Danielle is one of our skilled dental assistants and will be at your side during your treatment to help you feel secure and comfortable. She graduated from St. Petersberg Community College in Florida and Westconn University in Connecticut. Danielle has also completed courses at the Pinnacle of Advanced Learning Levin Group and has been a dental assistant for many years. When not at the office, Danielle enjoys shopping and being with her family her husband, Dan, and their children, Daniel, Delaney and Declan.
