John Puckett, D.D.S. A native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Dr. John H. Puckett graduated from White Hall High School and from Arkansas State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then moved to Oklahoma City to pursue a career in dentistry. While earning his dental degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, Dr. Puckett enjoyed an environment that emphasized pediatric and orthodontic dentistry, which would form the foundation of his practice. Dr. Puckett's memberships and affiliations include: American Dental Association Academy of Gp Orthodontics Surgical Staff, Outpatient Surgery Center of Jonesboro Recent certifications and training through continuing education include: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification Moderate sedation permit Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS) Pediatric mini-residency (University of Florida) Two-year Comprehensive Orthodontic training (Academy of Gp Orthodontics) Dr. Puckett's favorite part of dentistry is the personal interaction he enjoys with his patients. Although treating toothache and restoring oral health is important, it's only half the job. He relishes the opportunity to impact his patients' entire outlook on oral health and on the profession of dentistry as a whole. Dr. Puckett feels that it is his job to physically care for his young patients while practicing in such a way that will motivate them and their parents to improve and maintain good overall health. Hayley Richardson D.D.S. Dr. Hayley Richardson received her Bachelor of Science degree from Arkansas State University before moving back to her hometown of Rector to work for her family dentist as an assistant. She went on to graduate from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. After working with patients of all ages at a previous practice, she decided her passion was to work solely with children, and she soon joined Dr. Puckett at Ridge Kids Dental. Dr. Richardson is a member of: American Dental Association Arkansas State Dental Association Northeast District Dental Society Always eager to expand her expertise, Dr. Richardson has regularly enhanced her education through continuing education courses. These course topics include: Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS) Pediatric Dentistry Pediatric Sedation Dentistry Endodontics Oral Health and Nutrition Away from the office, Dr. Richardson enjoys being involved in children's ministry at First United Methodist Church in Paragould. She also enjoys traveling with her family. Their favorite spot to visit is Walt Disney World.

RKD was amazing with my 5 year old daughter as usual! She was crying, and assuming the worse, however, the worse was not the dental issue. Staff, dental assistant & dentist were great at helping her out with anxiety by explaining every procedure prior to doing. They have even let her sit on me in the chair previously to calm her & were quick with tissues for tears this visit while letting me hold her hand during X-rays. I have brought my 2 children here for about 9 years now and they are absolutely wonderful with kids. Highly recommended Ridge Kids Dental for your childrens dental hygiene!

My children have all been patients at Ridge Kids since July 2011 and have zero complaints. The staff is amazing and so good with my daughter who has Autism. Its a great thing when your kids WANT to to to the dentist!

Our first visit was great! My son was nervous but the lobby was fun and distracted him so he didn't feel like he was at the Dr. Office. The hygienist was so nice and patient with him when he was resistant and she didn't push or pressure him. The dentist even talked my son into showing him his "Alligator teeth" which was very impressive! The dentist discussed all and any concerns and did not rush us out. Great visit!

I'll start by saying the staff in the back was amazing! However I took a fill in appointments for my visit at the dentist and at the surgery center. The fill in for the dentist went great! The surgery center appointment didn't go so well they called the day before to ask if I wanted the appointment and ofcourse I did my daughter needed her teeth fixed fast so I took it. The lady that called told me 6:30am and I asked for the address and that was all of the phone call. I got texted the appointment would be 8am and emailed it would be at 10:40am so that's 3 different times and I had nobody to ask due to it being so late in the day after I got the text and email it was 6pm! So I took her at the time the lady over the phone said to I figured that was the right time I got there and waited in line past the scheduled time and that wasn't a problem. But when I got in the back they forgot to inform me that she couldn't have milk or food she is only 1 she didn't eat yet but she drank milk so she couldn't be worked on until 10am a couple hours off. being a mom that has a job I don't have time to sit half a day with a 1 year old that hadn't ate anything. Overall ridge kids need to be better put together and more informative! I will be going to a different dentist just for the convenience of time frame and being told everything I need to know. If I was to keep taking my kids to ridge kids I'm afraid it would be more trouble than just finding a different kids dentist!

I have 3 grandchildren that have gone to Ridge Kids... they all love going to the dentist there .. yesterday I took my 4 th grandchild 3 yrs old to have his first checkup ... he loved it ... loved the hygienist... loved the dentist ... they are so good whit kids ... they told him he was a rockstar being so good ... he has told everyone he's a rockstar ... lol he wanted to go back this morning... makes it a lot easier on the kids and parents when people are so easy going and kind with the kids ... we all love Ridge Kids !!!!!!!

Clean, efficient, saw my children in a timely fashion, friendly, outgoing and positive. Over all a delightful experience. Works well with small children and the whole staff is patient and kind.

Didn't bother contacting me after waiting SEVERAL MONTHS for an appointment while the enamel on my daughter's teeth started getting weak. Didn't bother giving me an explanation as to why either. When somebody's baby needs dental work and you don't allow both parents inside to oversee the appointment you won't be able to keep your patients.

So very pleased with Ridge Kids Dental. Dr. Puckett and our hygienist Lindsay were great. We have not had good experiences but today my daughter said she was excited to go back to see the great people she met. Thank you for taking time for her and letting her know she is important and doesn't have to be afraid.

This was my son's first Dental appointment, he was very nervous. The staff in the back was AMAZING to me and my son. He done great. I know without a doubt, it was because staff made him at ease. That being said, the receptionist was incredibly rude and at points hateful to me. I will continue going there and would recommend to my friends as well.
