Dr. Allison Cross grew up in Falmouth, MA on picturesque Cape Cod, or the Cape as she affectionately refers to it (just ask her to show you her arm map). She began her journey into dentistry in 2007 as a dental hygienist, graduating from the Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport. Inspired to broaden her abilities to care for her patients she was driven to pursue her dental degree. She returned to school while continuing to work as a hygienist, receiving a BS degree in Biology from Ramapo College of New Jersey and her DMD degree from the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She then completed a one year General Practice Residency at Mountainside Hospital. There she received extensive training in general dentistry while becoming proficient at handling dental emergencies, treating patients in the operating room, and providing dental treatment to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Dr. Cross will tell you that her foundation in dental hygiene taught her to treat the whole patient, not just teeth. She recognizes that behind every procedure is a person--a life--and her goal is to make that life just a little happier and a little healthier.

Upon graduation, Dr. Sceppaguercio completed a one year residency in general dentistry at Morristown Medical Center, where she provided advanced comprehensive dental care for her family of patients, encompassing all ages and levels of dental need.
Dr. Sceppaguercio strongly believes in patient education, prevention, and providing individualized and compassionate care to her patients. She is so thankful to be a part of the Ridge Family Dentistry team! In her time away from the office, Dr. Sceppaguercio enjoys cooking, eating, and travel. She frequents New York City and the Ortley Beach area of the Jersey Shore in her free time with her husband, Patrick and their rescue dog, Rosie.
