Dr. Michael R. Ricupito, a native Californian, was raised in the Fremont. He attended San Jose State University where he played both football and baseball and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts (B.A.) degree with distinction. He then attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco and received his doctorate (D.D.S.) with Honors in 1983. Dr. Ricupito taught at UOP School of Dentistry and practiced general dentistry in the Bay Area before he decided to specialize in orthodontics. He received his graduate training from UCLA School of Dentistry where he earned a master's degree (M.S.) in oral biology an ADA accredited Certificate of Specialty in Orthodontics.
Dr. Ricupito is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, California Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Alameda County Dental Society, the Craniomandibular Institute and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Best orthodontist in Fremont! Very professional, kind, and caring. Dr. Ricupito explains every step of the process. He also has amazing office staff.

Dr. Ricupito and his staff are amazing! Him and his dental assistants are highly skilled at what they do and because of this, appoints are quick, fast and easy. The front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend going to him for your ortho needs!

Dr Ricupito is the very best in the industry. His office is so friendly, you can tell he treats them all well. They are knowledgeable and answer all questions. They explain the process throughly and Dr has a great bed-side manner. We have referred many families to him in his office, and they are all very pleased.

Dr. Racupito has done a great job on my teeth. He is amazingly talented, a very nice person, and helped me tremendously planing and managing my work with my dentist and oral surgeon. He also did other family members with wonder success. I would highly recommend him for any orthodontist work even complicated cases.

My daughter was able to start treatment right after her FREE consultation! Super convenient since we were already there and didn't have to make another trip. Will definitely be recommending to my family and friends. the staff and especially assistants are to die for, they are super nice gentle and welcoming!

Before I found Mr Ricupido, I visited many orthodontists. My top teeth were perfect not my bottom (big mess) they all wanted to place brackets top and bottom that was something I really didn't wanted. Mr Ricupido not only fufilled my desire but made my teeth absolutely perfect. Not one time I sat on a chair waiting to be call, your office is always on time. Thank you for being so kind not only with me, I truly enjoyed the way you treat your staff, that explains why some of them are with you for so many years. I recommend you 100%, your expertise will give any one a perfect smile right on schedule.

I have been going here for over a decade. The entire staff has done an amazing job making me feel like I am part of the Blackhawk family. They are diligent in their work, provide me reminders of appointments as needed, and greet every patient with a smile and enthusiastic energy from the moment we walk in the door. Dr. Ricupito is an expert in his craft. He has taken tremendous care of my teeth and has always made me feel comfortable. He holds me accountable to using my retainers on a constant basis. I am extremely scared of the dentist and orthodontist, but having him has wiped away any fear I've had. He knows how to relate to his patients and constantly encourages us to follow best practices so we have the best smile. I have been fortunate to be a patient here and a member of this family.

Payment plans are available as well if needed. School age childreen are given tokebs for good grades, tokens if the staff is wearing their office shirt and if the patient is wearing that day as well. These tokens can be used to purchase movie tickets and a number of other things provided by the staff. Totally love this place
