The impact you can have on a persons life at any age by giving them a straight, beautiful smile is what led me to the dental specialty of orthodontics. When I started practicing in 1995, I made a commitment to provide patients with the highest quality of care possible. To do this, I use innovative, proven orthodontic solutions, some of which I was first to introduce to the Mansfield and Arlington areas. These include the SureSmile digital orthodontic system, which allows for greater comfort, shorter treatment times and fewer office visits. Equally important, I always provide my patients with focused, unhurried care in a fun and friendly environment.

When he isnt at the office, Dr. Herrmann enjoys spending time with his wife, Suzy and their two daughters. He likes traveling, snorkeling and reading. His commitment to the community isnt merely as an orthodontist, but also as a concerned, involved citizen. He donates his time and resources to multiple sports teams, schools and churches. He is currently a board member for the Mansfield ISD Education Foundation. Also, he has been a board member for Dental Health Arlington and the Mansfield Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Mansfield Rotary Club. In addition, he established a scholarship that is given to one Mansfield ISD high-school senior each year.

Gina has been in the orthodontic field as a Treatment Coordinator since 2000. Her passion is not only to see the results that change the lives for some of her patients, but to create an experience that will be fun, relaxing and memorable in the process. She believes having fun at work is key to a successful team and practice. In her spare time (ha, whenever that may be) she enjoys hanging out with her 4 boys, husband and of course her dobie (Johnny) and her pit (Gypsy)!! She spends a lot of time gardening, camping and reading.

Amber is the financial coordinator at Rick Herrmann Orthodontics. She has been in the dental administrative field since 2009. Amber enjoys working hard to set up the best personal financial plan to help you achieve your smile goals! When she is not in the practice, she spends her time with her family and most importantly her fur baby Bella Rue. They enjoy riding horses, heading to the lake or cuddling up at home watching movies.

Kandace, one of our orthodontic assistants, has been registered in the orthodontic field since 1999 and with Rick Herrmann Orthodontics since 2010. Kandace loves the challenge that comes along with helping to create the perfect smile for every patient. In her free time, she enjoys camping, reading and hanging out with her dog, Loki, and her son!

Brittany is our scheduling coordinator. She has been in reception/administration since 2008 and with Rick Herrmann Orthodontics since 2020. Brittanys fun and vibrant personality will always make you feel part of the Rick Herrmann Orthodontic family. In her spare time, you can find her playing soccer with her husband and kids, shopping or reading comics!

Shauna, one of our orthodontic assistants, has been in the orthodontic field since 2001. She loves being a part of transforming smiles and bringing self-confidence to her patients lives. In her spare time, Shauna loves spending time with her family and continuing, as executive chef, running her catering business.

Maitlan, one of our orthodontic assistants, has been in orthodontics since 2015. She loves watching the patients confidence grow throughout treatment. In her free time, Maitlan enjoys hanging out with her husband Abel, daughter Ximena and their 2 dogs.

SureSmile digital orthodontic system A high-tech robotic process fabricates your customized SureSmile archwire, which matches your treatment plan with pinpoint precision. Once placed, the archwire will move your teeth directly where they need to go. And because the archwire is made from a shape-memory alloy that works with body heat, it shortens treatment time. SureSmile also allows for fewer office visits and less discomfort.

Cosmetic clear self-ligating braces These virtually invisible brackets feature a unique clip that holds a superelastic archwire in place, allowing it to slide freely back and forth with less friction. This results in greater patient comfort because there is less pressure on the teeth. Self-ligating braces align your teeth more quickly than traditional braces. They require fewer adjustments, which means your number of office visits will be reduced. Plus, our clear braces do not require elastics or O-rings, which often discolor over time.

Invisalign Invisalign is a revolutionary way of straightening teeth without metal wires or brackets. Invisalign works through a series of clear comfortable aligners that you can remove whenever you eat, drink, brush or floss. Candidates for Invisalign include adults and mature teens.

Early orthodontic treatment Many orthodontic problems are actually preventable if theyre caught early enough. Thats why children as young as age 7 should see an orthodontist, as recommended by the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Herrmanns interceptive treatment methods can help reduce the need for extractions and/or costly surgical correction in the future.

Advanced sterilization procedures Dr. Herrmann and his staff put your safety first by using sterilization methods that meet or exceed OSHA guidelines and are monitored weekly by the Baylor College of Dentistry.
