Dr. Gandhi has lived in the greater New York Area since 1989, as an immigrant Dentist from Mumbai, India. He graduated from New York Univerisity College of Dentistry, earning his DDS in 1991. He completed his residency at Sea View Hospital and his emergency dental care residency at Lincoln Hospital.
He is currently the President-Elect of The Queens County Dental Society (QCDS). He is also a proud member of The American Dental Association (ADA) and The Indian Dental Association of (IDA). Dr. Gandhi has been practicing general/family dentistry including Orthodontics, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, Implant Surgery, and Invisalign for over 20 years. Certified in Invisalign, he is one of the first Invisalign providers in his area.
His love for dentistry coincides with his love for his community. He runs a study club for his colleagues who practice orthodontics where they screen patients for various orthodontic problems and innovate together on new techniques. He loves spending time with his family and 3 dogs. His hobbies are all things outdoors: racketball, tennis, volleyball, bowling, cricket, and skiing.

I don't post negative reviews unless I absolutely feel the need to. I visited the office recently and there was a big communication issue. The receptionist stated that she needed special codes from my insurance company before seeing me. I completely understand that.... but I made my appointment about 3 weeks prior. Why didn't anyone reach out to me or my insurance company in the days leading up to my appointment? Mind you, their automated system kept sending me alerts about my upcoming appointment. The receptionist stated that she would call my insurance company and get the appropriate codes and call me back on Monday. I never received a call. Lack of professionalism on their behalf. Aside from that, my husband had an appointment as well. Different insurance company. And he was in the clear to see the dentist for a routine cleaning. And then the receptionist told us the hygienist was not there today, and asked us to reschedule. Again.... UNPROFESSIONAL!! Why didn't anyone reach out to tell us that we couldn't do a simple cleaning? Do these people understand that we took the time out of our work day to attend these appointments??? What's the purpose of an appointment if you can't see the dentist? It was a rainy day, but there was a lot of patients in the waiting room which made me feel extremely uncomfortable in the midst of a pandemic. They should schedule their patients in a timely manner so there are no large gatherings of people...

Great Dentist! Everything from the booking to my implant were easy and smooth. He is gentle and explains everything so that i understand what i need. Very reasonably priced as well!

Horrible experience for me, Dr. Milan Gandhi was very dismissive, Rude, & wasn't too informative! His Nurse was texting on the phone while I was getting my Ex-Ray. Overall just Unprofessional & wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

Dr. Gandhi is a professional and skillful dentist. He worked patiently on my implant. When he found my upper teeth and lower teeth did not bite correctly, he put special material between teeth, it corrected biting and I do not need to wear braces now. I would recommend him to other patients.

If I could give a negative star I would. All of these negative reviews are 100% accurate. Ghandi is horrible. I went in for a tooth pain I was having and I left still not knowing the reason for the pain. He kept telling me I had to get all of my wisdom teeth extracted without an explanation, he then told me that one of my wisdom tooth was fully out but it isn't because I can physically feel it in my mouth still poking through my gums. When I asked him again why I had the tooth pain he responded again by telling me it had to be taken out. He is the worse dentist to go to, he also was eating just as the other reviews stated. However, the front desk lady was really kind and treated me great
