Dr. Jeff Higbee was born in Salt Lake City, UT and raised in Cedar City, UT. He attended Southern Utah University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology. His dental school training was completed at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine where he earned his DMD degree.
After dental school, Dr. Higbee completed his 2-year specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Saint Josephs Hospital for Specialty Care in Providence, Rhode Island, where he served as chief pediatric dental resident during the final year of his training. During his specialty training, Dr. Higbee enjoyed treating patients from all over the world and especially enjoyed working with patients with special health care needs including those with cleft lip and palate, autism, down syndrome and many others conditions. When Dr. Higbee is not in the dental clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family, wife and 4 children. He loves the outdoors, baseball and basketball. He also loves being active in the community and coaching youth sports.
Dr. Trent Pryor was raised in Cedar City, Utah and graduated from Cedar High School. He obtained his pre-dental requirements at Southern Utah University. Dr. Pryor received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2007 Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. He then completed his 2-year Pediatric Specialty, Dental Residency at Nova Southeastern University in 2009.
Dr. Pryor grew up coaching youth sports programs and knew he wanted to be a positive influence in the life of children for the rest of his life. When not in the office, Dr. Pryor enjoys spending time with his wife Holly and their 3 children, competing in triathlons, playing basketball, golf and basically any other sporting activities.
Dr. Pryor belongs to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Idaho State Board of Dentistry and is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Sean Schexnayder grew up in Cedar City Utah. He attended Southern Utah University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then attended dental school at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While attending dental school he realized that he would love to work in pediatrics so he was accepted into the Pediatric Dental program at the Temple University Hospital where he completed two years of specialty training.
Dr. Jonathan Hanks grew up in Utah and is excited to be back. He was raised in Mapleton, Utah, and comes from a large family. He has a Bachelors degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at San Antonio. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in San Antonio. He gained experience practicing as a general dentist for two years where he learned that treating and helping children was his favorite. Dr Hanks then attended a two-year pediatric dental residency in San Antonio, Texas. During residency he gained valuable experience in treating special needs patients, sedation and hospital dentistry. Dr. Hanks is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Hanks and his wife Callie have four fantastic children and they love spending time together especially when it involves the outdoors. They are very excited to be a part of the Sevier Valley community.

Over the years I have always taken my five kids to Richfield kids dental and they absolutely love it the dentist is absolutely amazing so friendly and kind keeps the kids super comfortable my son was so nervous to get cavities fixed and he kept him calm I was super impressed at how friendly all of the stuff was thank you so much you guys it means a lot when you got little ones and they're scared definitely recommend these guys to anybody

My daughter needed extensive work done, and she was terrified. The staff handled her so amazing! They were kind, positive, and patient. It was honestly the best outcome! I am forever grateful

The doctors and staff are the best! We started using them 4 years ago. After we moved away, we still drive 4 hrs to continue having them as our Dentist. I won't take my kids anywhere else.

I was happy with how quickly they got my son in for a visit. But the staff did not listen to me at all. I explained when calling my son had his 2 of his adult teeth growing over his baby teeth and we needed enough time schedule for our visit to get it done. And she scheduled him for a cleaning. Then after the dentist agreed with me the teeth needed to be pulled, the next "opening" was for the middle of april. So disappointed.... I have had to call another dentist to request records and x Ray's to get the teeth pulled sooner. My insurance and I am PAYING the dentist for his time, and the staff couldn't make time for what was really needing to be done, what I requested to be done.

We have loved this dentist, even when we moved to St. George we continued to see the same dentists at their office there. They are so patient and kind with kids! Thank you for always being so gentle with my little girl!

We had another great visit at Richfield Kids' Dental today! I've never had a bad experience here. My kids love it, not only because of the fun prizes, but because the staff are so sweet and patient with them. Even after moving an hour away from Richfield, we still make the drive because we don't want to change dentists. They're amazing!
