Dr. Richard Walker is a Southwest Washington native who graduated high school from Yelm. Currently, Richard and his two sons, Sebastian and Saunder, live in Adna. Lewis Countys outdoor resources and community were a natural fit for Dr. Walkers interests.
Richard R. Walker DDS PS prides himself on being Lewis Countys total family dentist. We want your entire experience to be as pleasant as possible. We have MP3 player attachments in the operatory for your listening pleasure.
Dr. Walker is sympathetic to the burden on not having dental benefits. To help those without dental benefits, Dr. Walker has not raised fees since 2008 and additionally increased discounts for payment upfront (to those without dental benefits) from 10% to 15%! Also, we provide some in-house financing and offer Care Credit.
We welcome children in our office and make an effort to ensure that each visit is as positive as possible. Parents are encouraged to accompany their child into the room to discuss procedures or ask questions. Once your child is approximately 6 months old and after their first tooth erupts, it is a good time to bring them to a family dentist.

Lewis Countys outdoor resources and community were a natural fit for Dr. Walkers interests. He has a deep passion for fishing and nature.
Dr. Walker went to undergrad at Western Washington University and finally the University of Washington School of Dentistry where he graduated from in 2003. He has been practicing ever since Chehalis at his current location next to Safeway on Market Street.
Beyond dental school Dr. Walker has had advanced training in endodontics (root canals), cosmetic dentistry, surgery, and implantology. He continues to keep up to date on the latest evidenced based dentistry courses and applies this knowledge to his patients. In addition to being formally well trained, he is an extremely compassionate and caring dentist working with his patients at their own pace. Dr. Walker has a wonderful reputation with apprehensive patients and children alike demonstrating multiple tools to make the experience more tolerable and even enjoyable. His most valuable tool though is his highly skilled and personable staff.

I came into Dr walker and Hendricksons dental office in desperate need because I had a bad experience with my last dentist. All My teeth are fractured and I had paradontil disease. We set up a plan so that I can have my teeth cleaned every 4 months, not only for the paradontil disease but so that I may be able to keep my teeth longer. I am very happy with the dental care I have now and I won't change dentists anytime soon.thank you.

Dr. Walker and his staff are top notch! I've been a dental hygienist for 30 years, and when my long-time boss retired and I slowly transitioned out of dentistry, I needed an office I could trust. I've been a patient since 2018 and will never go anywhere else, no matter what dentist I work for! He is fast, efficient, and his work is impeccable. He's no nonsense, but very caring and friendly, and he's never hurt me or recommended unnecessary treatment. Everyone who works for him has treated me with nothing but respect and friendliness. I always hear laughter when I go in for my appointments, and everyone works together...that's when you know you're in a good place. I would recommend this office a million times over!!!!

Amazing dentist! Walker is very skilled but also doesn't do unnecessary procedures and gives honest opinions and advice. I'd recommend him to anyone

Dr. Walker is THE BEST Dentist I've EVER been to. I was traumatized by bad dentistry before to the point where I would have panic attacks in the chair. I switched to Dr. Walker and he is very patient and does not make me feel rushed during the work. He's like a dental ninja and gets in and out so I can be on my way(including early AM apts). The whole office is awesome, from the front desk to the back office. If you are looking for a dentist just stop and call them. :)
