Dr. Yarbro, a native Texan, completed his undergraduate degree in Cell & Molecular biology at Texas Tech University. He then went on tograduate with honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio School of Dentistry.
Prior to moving to Spokane, Dr. Yarbro lived in Moses Lake and worked in their community health clinic as part of a federal rural health program. He moved to Spokane in 2005 and opened his private practice. He currently resides in North Spokane with his wife and three daughters.
Dr. Yarbro isa member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Washington State Dental Association, and the Spokane District Dental Society. He also actively participates in a local dental study club.
Kathleen has been working for Dr. Yarbro as the bookkeeper since he first opened his practice. Since then, she has taken on additional duties with billing, insurance, and office management. She brings a diversified balance to the office with prior experience in nursing management. She enjoys reading, cooking, and all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer with her husband and three children - especially trips to local ski areas in the winter and Priest Lake in the summer.
All of our charts are paperless. This means all dental work is noted on a computer, and any forms are scanned into your chart. This eases work for the staff, improves communication, increases efficiency, and enhances confidentiality.
The radiographs taken in our office are digital. This means instead of developing a filmwhich takes time and utilizes chemicalsthe x-ray is directly converted into a computer file, which can be pulled up immediately and viewed on the screen over the patient's chair. These digital x-rays also decrease radiation to the patient by 60%.
Each room is called an 'operatory' and is designed for patient comfort. The dental chairs are some of the newest and most comfortable chairs available. Computer monitors are above every chair, which can be used to view x-rays, photographs, or even DVDs. Our office provides a wide range of family-friendly DVDs to view while in the chair. Each operatory is open, providing a more relaxing environment for all.

It it is a very friendly environment with skilled staff that put our 8 year old right at ease. When asked how he liked the visit to the dentist he replied, "I LOVED it!" I did too.

They are taking very good precautions with covid19. Everyone is friendly and fun and Dr. Yarbro is very efficient. Its nice that they will text you when they're ready for you instead of having to sit in the waiting room.

My husband and I love the staff and Dr. Yarbro! Always have a great experience. My favorite things are the email reminders and that we can text the office about appointments.

I was a little apprehensive about all the virus stuff but all worked out well....NO problem...they are following all the rules AND everyone was friendly & professional as ALWAYS!

Dr. Yarbro's office is amazing. From walking in the front door, being greeted warmly by the receptionist to the painless panel and x-rays done for my new patient cleaning, it was above and beyond any other dental office experience I have had. If you're like me & despise going to the dentist, let me share my first experience that might just change your mind too. Dr. Yarbro & his staff were professional, compassionate & very personable. I actually enjoyed my visit. I appreciated that he didn't try to take advantage of me financially. I had a crown that came off & instead of just telling me I would need a new one, he offered to try to reuse mine. That saved me about $1k. Also, for those without insurance, they have an in-house plan that saves you a LOT! If you're looking for a new dentist or just not overly excited to visit your current one, come check 'em out, I believe you'll be pleased you did.

I may be one of the only people to get excited to go to the dentist! When we moved back to the area, I was so excited to be able to get back into this dentist office. The staff is amazing and Dr. Yarbro is the best dentist I've ever been to. He listens and genuinely cares about your dentistry health. I highly recommend this practice!
