Dr. Richard Vallese has been practicing general, reconstructive, and cosmetic dentistry for 30 years. His practice consists of patients ranging from young children to elderly adults, and includes patients with special needs of all ages. Dr. Vallese's expertise, knowledge, and kindness have resulted in generations of families remaining loyal to his practice.
After receiving his BS from Wittenberg University in 1980, and DDS from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1984, Dr. Vallese completed his residency and surgical training in The Watertower Surgicenter of Chicago, IL, among the top surgeons in the area.
Dr. Vallese is devoted to the needs of his patients, and consistently provides them with the most recent techniques in dentistry, which has earned him an outstanding reputation. Dr. Vallese was awarded the 'Top Doctor' award in the New York Metro Area, which was featured on The Dr. Oz Show in December, 2014. Dr. Vallese 'swork speaks for itself in the confident smiles of his patients.

I have had the good fortune of having Dr. Richard Vallese of Ramsey, NJ, as my dentist for 24 years. Dr. Vallese has done root canals, filling, crown, bone graft bridge work, you name it. I trust his work and his advice completely. All his work done over the years has been outstanding. He is super nice, friendly, and caring. The service is excellent and the staff is friendly.

Until recently, my whole family was under the care of Dr. Vallese. In the beginning, I was very happy from his friendly demeanor and gentle touch. I also appreciated the caring nature of the office staff. Unfortunately, I have not gone back to him in several months because I was unhappy with the work that he did on my teeth. I had two caps done, one in the front and one in the back. I also had some reconstructive work on a preexisting filling. Before, Dr. Vallese cemented the caps in, he informed me that I needed to make certain they fit well since he would not be able to remove them.. However, only after having the caps in for several days, I realized how ill fitting they were. For example, I bit my tongue several times and the front cap was simply too large for it to feel uncomfortable. Additionally, I started to experience pain where he reconstructed my tooth as a preventative measure. I immediately brought this issue up to the office manager who recommended that I revisit the office and Dr. Vallese could order new crowns for me. When I visited the office, to my surprise, Dr. Vallese did not order new crowns but elected to reshape them so he can save money. Even as a layman, I know that once you reshape porcelain the surface loses its fine texture. Moreover, after reshaping my molar, I continued to bite my tongue several times which conclusively proves that it is ill fitting. Recently, I went to a top rated dentist in Ramsey NJ where x-rays showed that the reconstructive filling that Dr. Vallese did was all patch work. Dental work must be smooth so that bacteria will not collect in the grooves and eventually cause gingivitis. Needless to say, I am very disappointed with the work that was performed in his office. I understand that there is always two sides to the story but the x-rays from the other dentists shows his inferior work. -GEORGE SPECTOR

I love this office. Dr Vallese is wonderful and his staff is great, too. Before them, I hated going to the dentist. I highly recommend them!!!
