After graduating from Kansas University, he earned his DDS from the University of Missouri, Kansas City Dental School in 1988. Since graduating, he has continued his educational journey for the benefit of his patients.

In many cases, headache pain is caused by a jaw joint (temporomandibular) disorder, commonly referred to as TMJ. I've been going to Dr. Dervin for about a year now he's done an amazing job. Julia in the office is a great too. just had my teeth cleaned today and they feel great!

After an accident at home I called a dentist's office near to me and was told that I could get in 2 weeks later. A family member recommended that I call Dr. Dervin's office so I did. Julie got on the phone with me and asked me if I was in pain, (the first place didn't). Then she scheduled me for the following day. Dr. Dervin is friendly, professional and painless! Couldn't ask for better.

We switched dentists, my whole family, me, my husband and kids. my kids and I have gone already and the whole staff and the doctor are all very nice. I can say am not disappointed in switching and its always a plus when it's 5 mins from home. I would def recommend Richard Dervin Dental. First visit was great!! :)

Overall a very positive experience once again. Staff was friendly, professional, courteous and caring. Facility is modern and clean with extensive COVID protocols in place. Appointment was on-time and painless. Dr. Dervin explains every step of the procedure, works quickly, and delivers excellent results.
