Dr. Kalmans received extensive training in post-graduate and continuing education courses. He was awarded a fellowship by the Academy of General Dentistry. He completed training for treating Sleep Apnea with an easy-to-use, oral appliance instead of the more traditional, cumbersome CPAP machine. This break-through technology improves his patients sleep, and as a result, their overall well-being. He attended numerous advanced dental courses at the prestigious Pankey Institute in Florida and he completed continuing education courses in Implantology and Prosthetics, Cosmetic Dentistry, Aseptic Technique, Medical Emergencies and CPR Recertification.
Dr. Kalmans is affiliated with several accredited dental organizations including the American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, Stamford Dental Society, American Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

We also offer interest-free payment plans (upon approval) throughCareCredit. Our office participates in Aetna PPO, Cigna PPO, Dental Dental and Metropolitan Life Dental Insurance plans. Our officeaccepts all open dental insurance plans, open meaning the plan allows you to go to an office of your choice. Examples of open plans are traditional indemnity dental insurance and Preferred Provider Organization (PPO.)
Our office manager can provide a written estimate for all recommended dental treatment. This will include the cost of treatment, estimated insurance coverage and estimated patient cost. However, it is important for you to know how your dental plan is designed, including its limitations and deductibles so that you can be prepared to pay your share on the day services are rendered. We will be happy to assist you in obtaining benefit information and will gladly submit your dental insurance claims at the time of service.

I visited Dr. Kalmans for the first time and was thoroughly impressed! From the first phone call I received to the end of my appointment they were friendly, informative, and thorough. The person working at the front desk made the new patient process a breeze and had even checked with my insurance if certain services were covered before offering them. Dr. Kalmans and his wonderful assistant were with me the whole appointment. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking!

I've been going to Dr. Kalmans (every 6 months) for 30+ years! And, in all of that time he has made me feel comfortable, and well tended to during each visit. He actually makes me feel like my teeth are the only teeth on earth . He is friendly, consistent in his demeanor, and always wears a smile. I highly recommend him as your 'go-to' dentist! And, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the lovely Rosa; Dr. Kalman's right hand! She is the best frontline Rep in the city of Stamford!

Dr. Kalmans is an excellent dentist. He was highly recommended to me when I moved to Connecticut from out of state 30 years ago and he has provided excellent service ever since.. I would have rated him 5 stars after my first visit in 1988 and he still provides the highest level of dental care.

I just went to see Dr. Kalmans for the first time after he came highly recommended to me and I am so glad I did! From Rose at the front desk who was wonderful getting me scheduled and dealing with my insurance to the doctor and his assistant, everyone was wonderful! Dr. Kalmans did the cleaning himself and was so friendly and professional. They took me in on time and spend ample time addressing any questions or needs I had. I've definitely found my dentist and am so pleased!
