Dr. Ricardo Peralta comes from a family of dentists (mother and brother). He started his dental career at the age of 16, where he was an assistant at his mothers dental practice. As a result, Dr. Peralta followed in her footsteps and graduated from dental school in 2010.
In 2021, he earned an honorary Fellowship award in the Academy of General Dentistry, which is the leading association for general dentists emphasizing highest standards and acknowledgement of continuing education within the discipline. He is now a part of the top 6% of dentists who have reached this honor nationwide.
After being recommended by a peer, Dr. Peralta had the amazing opportunity to move to Silicon Valley and be the managing dentist in the Facebook, LinkedIn, Amazon, Intel and Genentech on-site dental office. While there, he had the opportunity to treat people from all over the world and grow not only as a dentist but as a person.
Dr. Peralta also completed a dental sleep medicine residency at the University of Utah and is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), the only non-profit professional association dedicated exclusively to the practice of dental sleep medicine. Dr. Peralta helps treat snoring and obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy, an effective treatment that is covered by most medical insurance plans.
Dr. Peralta is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the Hispanic Dental Association.
Magdalena joined us in October 2020 and enjoys the vibe at our practice! She feels Dr. Peralta cares for patients more deeply than most dentists she has encountered do, and she enjoys upholding his vision to make our patients dental care the best it can be. She has worked with several dentists, and none have measured up to Dr. Peraltas level! She feels fortunate to be part of this practice and cannot imagine working anywhere else. She brings a professional, warm demeanor and positive attitude to work and is always ready to make each day the best. She makes our patients feel welcome and happy to see us and is always available to help our patients and team.
Magdalena comes from a family of dentists, and she has lived most of her life overseas with her family. Following her husbands career in the U.S. Navy, they raised two amazing children. After her oldest son entered the U.S. Naval Academy, she decided it was time to go back to work. Her daughter is a great sophomore achiever at Scripps Ranch High School.
Barbara graduated from Indiana University and joined our team in December 2019. She loves educating patients and implementing leading-edge therapies to assist them in achieving their ideal oral health goals. Barbara is very gentle and compassionate and always able to put her patients at ease and ensure that they have positive dental experiences.
Barbara loves visiting her four grown children along with their fur babies. In her free time, she lives a healthy lifestyle with yoga, hiking, paddleboarding, running and gardening. She also enjoys reading, watching sports and hanging out with her mini Doberman.
Eri graduated from a dental assisting program in San Diego and then went to dental hygiene school six years later. She has over 10 years of experience in the dental field, including working for an implantologist and a pediatric dentistry. Eri joined our practice in June 2021, and she loves the positive energy of our practice and being part of a great team. Er puts her own stamp on our practice by providing a high quality of patient care and by educating our patients and treating them like part of her own family.
Eri has a husband, a daughter in the third grade and a Toy Poodle. In her free time, she loves working out in the morning, cooking, playing with her dog, going to the beach with her family and friends, and traveling, including visiting her family and friends in Japan.
Moises graduated from UEI College with honors, and he has been in the dental field since 2011. He joined our team in June 2021. He enjoys the flow of our office and how everyone is a team player. Moises always tries to educate the patients and help them understand any questions they might have.

Dr. Peralta and his staff were great. They were very efficient and I was able to get through my appoint very quickly. They were all extremely nice and made me feel comfortable with the whole process. I would recommend them to anyone.

Best dentist I have met. I have seen over 5 dentists in San Diego over the years and Dr. Peralta and his staff are AWESOME. I don't usually write reviews but they are different in that they are very efficient and accommodating. 1. They don't overbook and I was seen within minutes every time. 2. I had errands and walked into office to see if I could be seen few hours early and was IMMEDIATELY accommodated. Talk about customer service! 3. Accept insurance. 4. Both my cleaning and my filling process was efficient and painless. 5. They use the state of the art technology and can create crowns on site within hours.

Dr Peralta is an amazing dentist! He is very friendly and gentle. I would recommend him to anyone! He is a Dentist who cares about his patients health. he explained everything I needed in detail, so that I would understand why I needed the treatment. I'm happy to have found this office and meet Dr. Peralta. The staff and Dr. Giglio's office are very friendly and the environment of the office makes you feel comfortable!

Let me begin by saying: I am afraid of the dentist. Well... I used to be. Everyone at Dr. Peralta's office is fantastic! He is knowledgeable and professional. The office is clean and organized. I strongly recommend this dental practice to anyone that has issues with going to the dentist or anyone looking to make a change. Dr. Peralta is the best!

If there were 10 stars he would get them. Staff is excellent and also the time frame he was able to get a flipper in was above and beyond. When I needed this office the most they all came through. That's what counts in my books.

Dr.Giglio is the most caring, professional and skillful dentist I know. He does it right the first time and it is pain free. If I had more than one dentist this would be my favorite dentist of all. The staff is amazingly friendly. They are competent and professional. They know my name. Dr. Giglio is a very good dentist. Every time I have gone to him for work (7 yrs now) I have never had a complaint. His dental team that does cleaning and other dental services are amazing as well. All and all I give the place 10 stars!

My mom and dad have been going here for years and although I have been going here for some time, I am barely writing a review for them. Sorry, about that you guys. Dr Giglio and his staff are really good at what they do. The make you feel at home and take good care of you. From the time you enter to the time you leave, you are taken care of. I plan on taking my kids here when it's time.
