He thoroughly enjoys his profession as a dental health care provider and especially the daily interactions and relationships he has built with his many patients and is grateful for the trust they put in him as their dentist.
Dr. Phillips was born and raised in Minnesota and attended the University of Minnesota for his undergraduate and his dental degree. In addition, he received Implant Surgical and Restorative training at the Misch International Implant Institute in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Hsu grew up in Taiwan and received his doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Taipei Medical School in 1996. He then attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry for his Advanced Education in General Dentistry residence and his master degree in Oral Health Services for Older Adults. Dr. Hsu enjoys doing a variety of dental procedures and working with patients of all ages and focuses on meeting the individual needs of each of his patients by improving the patients oral health and functions.

I highly recommend Richard Battaglia, DDS, at the Foley Blvd office. Dr. Battaglia and his Dental Hygienist have a gentle touch. They specialize in making sure their patients are comfortable and pain free.

I've been coming here for 17 years and I really enjoy the staff here. Courtney the receptionist is very helpful and efficient, and my hygienist always asks me a lot of questions to get to know me, which I absolutely love! They've made proper referrals for me when I had to get a root canal and when I had to take out my wisdom teeth. My only critique of this place is that they are always late to call me in, so it doesn't matter if you get there early or a few minutes late- they always seem to be running behind. Otherwise, great place for your dental needs!

Have to say I'm pretty disappointed with the service given. I went in July to have my teeth looked at because of a problem I was having with pain. Told them that it was the root cannel they had done back in the past. Battaglia looked at my teeth told me that I would have to have the wisdom tooth pulled the one right next to the root cannel and the upper one because it would drop. Went in to who they referred to, AOMS and had the teeth pulled which was a problem because they said I had Hot Gums/Teeth which means they couldn't give enough medicine to num my teeth so would have to feel the pain. I was still having a problems after the teeth were pulled which I thought was because of the incisions. A couple of times there was a bump that would come under the capped tooth but thought I could just ask at my cleaning appt in Sept. Came in for the cleaning appt in September they looked it over and was told that my root cannel would have to be re-done and would have to pay $1300.00 because my insurance was capped with the teeth that were pulled for no reason. I told them that I shouldn't have to pay for any additional stuff done or not that much because I didn't need the wisdom teeth pulled that hurt because of the infection that was UNDER that tooth. I had an appt set up to have the RE-DO but now that I'm questioning the payment needed they can't handle it and am told that I have to go to a specialist. Very shotty workmanship and customer service is horrible.

I've seen Dr. Battaglia for years now. His office and staff have always been kind, courteous, and professional. I have never had long waits to be seen. Dr. Battaglia does a amazing job and I always leave feeling better and happy about my next visit. I always recommend him to other friends and family because of his quality of care. He is also a all around nice person and has a great attitude which makes it easy to leave with a smile.
