Dr. Richard Fossum enjoys creating beautiful, healthy smiles that last a lifetime. Hes a caring and compassionate general and restorative dentist who uses proven therapies and modern technology to deliver excellent care with a personal touch. Dr. Fossum began practicing in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1995 before he moved to Texas. He opened his Belton office in 1999, and then in 2004 relocated his practice to his current location in Temple. He is the CEO of Fossum Dental Group.

Dr. Fossum attended the University of Texas in Austin before graduating from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston in 1995. Prior to arriving in Temple, he practiced dentistry in Albuquerque, New Mexico, from 1995 to 1999.

An avid learner, Dr. Fossum takes numerous hours of continuing education each year to stay current with new procedures, technology, and safety standards. He constantly evaluates new equipment and spares no expense to implement tools and technologies that increase patient comfort and provide innovative dental solutions.

Dr. Fossum has four active children, three girls and one teenage boy, and several family pets. He enjoys traveling with his family and using his pilots license to fly. He also enjoys automobile racing. Dr. Fossum likes to ski, play tennis, and spend quality time with his children. He is the oldest of five children and all three of his brothers are dentists practicing in Texas.Dr. Fossum and his wife, Brittany, enjoy hiking, traveling and volunteering together at the Body of Christ dental clinic in Belton.

Dr. Courtney Grosskopf joined Fossum Dental in 2019. Prior to dentistry, Dr. Grosskopf worked in the Hemodialysis Unit and Intensive Care Unit as a Registered and Licensed Dietitian at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, TX. Dr. Grosskopf provides general and surgical services to a myriad of patients but focuses on providing a positive and calming experience for the fearful dental patient with the use of oral and I.V. sedation.

After graduating from Episcopal High School in Houston, TX, Dr. Grosskopf pursued her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Texas at Austin. She achieved her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio May 2007.

Following completion of dental school Dr. Grosskopf completed a two-year General Practice Residency at the Medical College of Georgia. This residency focused on dental surgery, implant placement, IV sedation, and providing dental care to medically complex patients.

She went on to complete an additional two-year residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Oral Medicine, where she provided dental care in a hospital setting and she focused on the diagnosis and treatment of oral lesions (lichen planus, pemphigus, pemphigoid, aphthous ulcers, and herpetic lesions) and facial pain (TMD/TMJ, trigeminal neuralgia, atypical facial pain, burning mouth syndrome). Dr. Grosskopf is well versed in the treatment and management of patients preparing and undergoing treatment for cancer of the head and neck.

Dr. Grosskopf was born and raised in Houston. Her entire family is from the Austin area. She is currently raising a young man with lots of kind support from her loved ones. Outside of work, you can regularly find her going to all sorts of concerts around Austin. She loves music so much that she regularly sings while working with patients!

Growing up in a military family, Dina couldn't been more thankful to have settled down in Central Texas in the mid-80s. Dina has worked in the dental industry since 2003 and joined the Fossum Dental Group in 2011. She attended Temple College for Business Management and have continued with courses in Team Building, Business Management and Dental Practice Management. Dina carries a Registered Dental Assistant license from Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. She is a strong believer in continued education. It brings Dina excitement to work alongside a dedicated, driven team that also appreciates seeing smiles on the faces of our patients. She has learned through professional success that people are your most important commodity and creating a team environment is worth its weight in gold. Dina is also just as passionate to cultivate a culture where our patients are supported, listened to, and have a the best dental care available. She has been married since 2007 and is very proud of her Baylor Bear son. When not at work, you may find Dina antique shopping, on the beach, or spending time with family and my chocolate lab, Bailey.

Daniella joined our team in 2019, bringing over a decade of experience in the dental field with her. She attended Platt College in Oklahoma City and has since worked in a number of roles, including Clinical Coordinator and Financial Coordinator. Now, she loves being an Office Manager because of all the people she gets to meet and help on a daily basis! Outside the office, youll most likely find her spending time with her husband and two daughters. She also enjoys camping, live music, home improvement, and car shows. She is quite the thrill seeker as well and has even jumped out of an airplane!

Brenda grew up in Westphalia, Texas. She received her Dental Assistant certificate from Texas State Technical College in 1991 and has worked in the dental industry for over 20 years. Brenda has been an integral part of our team since 2003. She has attended the Bell Leadership program, Heartland Communications class and is a Notary Public for the State of Texas. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience and is our longest employee! Brenda truly enjoys working with our patients to help them find their confident smiles again. Brenda is happily married with two adult sons. She and her family are very active in their community. Brenda volunteers as a youth leader for St. Josephs Catholic Church, and for SPJST Lodge 24. In her spare time, she enjoys quilting and scrapbooking.

Darcey was born and raised in Texas! While she may be relatively new to our team, her background in healthcare and love of solving problems have made her an amazing fit from the start. She completed a dental assistant course online in 2013 and is now happy to serve our patients in her role as our Business Assistant! Her family consists of her spouse and daughter. Outside of dentistry, her interests include home dcor, baseball games, and DIY projects.

Lynn is our Director of First Impressions and is originally from Georgetown, Tx. She proudly served our country for four years in the United States Navy. Lynn has been an important part of our team since 2009. She loves to see patients who have dental fears transform into patients who love coming to the dentist for the dental care they need. Lynn is also happily married with three wonderful children and a Border Collie named, Dixie. In her spare time, Lynn loves going to see live music and has declared herself to be Aerosmiths #1 fan.

Debra has been with our office since 2006 and has over 20 years of experience in her role as a dental hygienist. In addition to helping our patients keep their teeth clean, shes also devoted to educating others on effective brushing and flossing. She earned her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from El Paso Community College and loves having the chance to meet new people every day. When shes not helping our patients create healthier smiles, Debra loves shopping. Shes inspired by the quote, Never say you cant!

Natasha grew up in Copperas Cove and started out her dental career as an extern for Dr. Fossum. She has worked in each of his offices and joined our practice in 2010. Natasha graduated with her RDA License from Allied Health Careers in 2009 and is currently attending Central Texas College as she works towards a degree in dental hygiene. Natasha is also certified in nitrous oxide administration and CPR. Natasha loves to help people conquer their dental fears to achieve the healthy and beautiful smile they desire. Natasha is a newlywed with two pre-teens and a hyper Boston terrier named, Zoey. When not serving our patients, she also enjoys spending time with her loved ones and working out to live a healthy and active lifestyle.

Originally from Waco, Stephanie earned her RDA license there before completing her certifications in N2O and iTero. She joined our team in 2021 and has since enjoyed working to calm our high fear patients so they can comfortably get the quality dental care they deserve. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her son, who is her joy. She also loves fishing, participating in races, and doing just about anything that gets her outdoors. A Karaoke enthusiast, she likes singing to Christian music, too!

Brandon is another relatively new member of our team. However, he has roughly a decade of experience in the world of dentistry! He graduated from Allied Health in 2002 and has since earned his certifications in coronal polishing and N2O. For him, the best thing about his job is helping his patients achieve the best smile possible. Although he is originally from Austin, he now resides here with his spouse and their four children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and riding his Harley. One thing you may not know about him is that his favorite appetizer is fried pickles!

Angelica is a native Texan. She started working at our office for an externship, but she ended up loving it so much that she stayed! She completed the dental assistant program at the Texas Academy of General Dentistry and has been with our team ever since. Today, she is certified in N2O, CPR, and AgriLife Childcare for special needs. When asked about her favorite part of her job, she shared that it is being a part of a team that is so supportive of one another. In addition to spending time with her husband, she enjoys using her time outside the office to paint. Heres an interesting fact about her: she owned a hedgehog!

Born and raised in Texas, it was only natural for Sarah to complete her studies at Baylor University. After earning her bachelors degree, she attended Temple Dental Assisting School. Next, she volunteered at a local clinic before joining our team! Since then, she has thoroughly enjoyed meeting new people and helping them on their journey to a healthy, happy smile. Outside of dentistry, her interests include traveling, rescuing animals, and performing music. One thing you may not know about her is that she has traveled to five countries!
