When I graduated from dental school 36 years ago, I was looking forward to taking care of the underserved, low income and homeless populations and I fulfilled that goal as dental director of the Logan Heights Family Health Center in La Mesa for 19 years.
A smile compromised by missing or damaged teeth can affect a persons mental health by negatively impacting her confidence, job prospects, and self-worth. I continued my education with a General Practice Residency at the Delaware State Hospital and then attended Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry specializing in prosthodontics. In 2001, I established my dental practice in La Mesa focusing on comfortable and state of the art aesthetic replacement of one tooth to entire oral rehabilitations.
I went to Dr. Feinberg for dental implants because I was embarrassed about my two missing teeth. I was always trying to hold back laughter and refrain from smiling. I now have the best dental implants and I can laugh and smile again. You cant even tell I have them!
Aside from dentistry, my family is my happiness. I have two girls, Ariela and Ivana, and a boy, Edwin, who help me see the world more clearly. My education at the University of Wisconsin focused on the natural world from meteorology, ornithology, mammalogy, entomology, tree and shrub identification and the interaction of these parts called ecology. I explore this natural world with my children whether splashing in the ocean, watching shore birds, visiting the deep woods or the sequoias, hiking all day to mountain lakes, catching rainbow trout, or riding mules at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
I also have a close relationship with my mother, who is 91 years old and continues to take care of me some 3,000 miles away. My older brother is a successful folding box designer and printer. They both reside in New Jersey. My children and I enjoy visiting our family and going to New York to see Broadway shows, enjoy ethnic foods (hot pastrami) and skate at the Rockefeller Center on Christmas.

Every week we give Kuddos to folks. Today, we take no pleasure in writing this "negative" review. First, we want to say that Dr. Feinberg is a wonderful person and he is a very caring Doctor. The person who handles the patient's insurance, was rude, had no patience, spoke to us in an abrupt, irritated way. We told her to please not speak to us that way. She just acted like she never even heard our comment. The staff person said she would take care of what we called her about by the end of the week. She told us not to call her, but instead to wait for her to call us. Today is a month later from when we called her. We still have not heard from her. We were initially thrilled to have Dr. Feinberg as our Dentist. That staff person in his office has caused Dr. Feinberg to lose two new patients. We do not recommend this Dentist office. This is the best office! I feel so lucky to have found Dr Feinberg! He is such a wonderful Dentist. I have a particularly hard mouth to work with, and he has been so helpful with my issues. The office staff is absolutely hands down the best I've ever interacted with, they are all so nice!! I'll never go to another dentist.

Front crowns take a lot of attention to perfect, and they've teamed up with the right suppliers to make the whole thing run smoothly and get accomplished exactly how it needs to be. AMAZING DENTIST AND STAFF! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I had always hated going to the dentist, so much so that I basically stopped going as an adult. When I went, I felt shamed for not going often enough, and I just hated everything about the experience; the sounds, the smells, the feeling of metal pushing against my gums and scratching my teeth. Then I found Dr. Feinberg's practice. He and his staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, from draping a blanket over me to carefully adjusting the nitrous oxide so that I remained calm throughout the exam and cleaning. I was not made to feel ashamed once, and for the first time in my life, I left the dentist feeling motivated to go to the dentist more often and to take better care of my teeth.

Dr. Feinburg is an outstanding dentist. He saw me on short notice and with the review of my xrays, it was determined I needed a root canal. The experience was pain free and completed in a timely manner. His staff was equally outstanding with there professionalism and warm greeting. Since I am new to the area I will be taking all my dental needs to this office.
