Dr. Richard Creaghe has been serving the San Rafael area since he acquired his practice in 1990. He fell in love with the area, finding the people extremely welcoming and he couldnt be happier to help serve the community. A native of Texas, Dr. Creaghe truly has a unique story.
He attended university of Hawaii and then attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. To support himself through dental school he worked as a roughneck on oil rigs in varied locations such as the North Slope of Alaskas Prudhoe Bay and the South China Sea, often flying to work weekends while attending classes during the week.
During his free time Dr. Creaghe loves to travel and enjoy the outdoors, especially while jet skiing. Dr. Creaghe is a firm believer in the process of continuous improvement and routinely takes courses at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Training. There he improves his knowledge by learning both the newest techniques and how to use the newest advancements in dental technologies.
He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and he is also a Fellow in the International Congress on Oral Implantology, giving him the distinction as one of the best providers of dental implants available anywhere.
Linh is our chair side assistant who is extremely knowledgeable with 14 years of experience in the field. She will work beside Dr. Creaghe to assist him while performing procedures. Linh has been working with Dr. Creaghe since 2008.
Patricia is one of our talented hygienists who will perform varied duties such as administer cleanings, take X-rays, and provide tips for your oral hygiene. She is the newest addition to our team and our patients value both her knowledge and thoughtful demeanor. She joined the team in 2019.
Many of you have seen Lily for years at Dr. Creaghes office. She provides dental hygiene support for us and takes great pride in her profession. Lilys chair side presence makes our patients dental visits comfortable and efficient through her committment to excellence in dental hygiene.

When I first moved to Marin and did not have a dentist I had a dental emergency and found Dr. Creaghe online. They let me make a same-day appointment and they treated my condition in a courteous and professional manner. Now he is my regular dentist. I love everyone who works in his office, they are some of the nicest dental team I've ever known. I'm so happy to have found them.

Let me start this review by stating that Dr. Richard Creaghe is not just my dentist, he is also a personal friend. I tell this in the interest of full-disclosure, to lend credibility to the honesty of my review, and to provide insight beyond what other patients will see. As a dentist, Dr. Creaghe has been treating me and my family for close to ten years. In my younger years, I followed my job to many different parts of the country. As a result, I've had the experience -- and sometimes the misfortune -- of being treated by many different dentists over the years. Of all the dentists, Dr. Creaghe is by far the most skilled, the most knowledgeable, and the most professional (he's also the only dentist I've ever known who makes a personal follow-up phone call to every patient at the end of the day). I am basing my opinions not only on my own experiences as his patient, but also from my observing him care for other patients while I'm being attended to by the hygienist. I should also mention Dr. Creaghe's staff: they are all competent, professional, and friendly. As Richard's friend, one thing that I am privy to is his passion for dentistry, even outside his practice. Unlike many dentists who treat dentistry as just a job (and whose skills stagnate after leaving dental school), Dr. Creaghe actually "lives" his profession. While all dentists licensed in California are required to complete 50 hours of continuing education every 2 years, Dr. Creaghe spends many weekend days in training seminars, attending far more than the required minimum. He does this to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques, procedures, and dental technologies. Often when Richard and I meet outside of work, he will enthusiastically tell me about some of the newest developments in dentistry. As I said, Dr Creaghe is passionate about his profession! Another thing I am privy to is the amount of money Dr. Creaghe invests every year to keep his practice current with the latest and most advanced equipment (like his new "filmless" digital x-ray machines), as well as amenities to ensure that patients have a comfortable, and even enjoyable, experience.

I enjoy the professional, polite, and talented team at Dr. Craeghe's Office. Simply put, Dr. Richard Craeghe is great. His patient and personable demeanor makes each visit a relaxing experience. His staff is amazing. From the start of each visit, I'm greeted promptly and at the end of each visit, I leave pain free. The Office is managed very efficiently. Every visit, the process is always handled smooth and effortlessly. The courtesy Text, Emailed Appointment reminders, and follow up appointment messages are also appreciated. Instead of attending another dental appointment, my experiences have become another visit with Friends. I'm thankful that I have found an amazing Dentist and I most appreciative to have found a wonderful Dentist that has an "Awesome Team".

I have been going to Dr. Creaghe for about 10 months now. I have had lots and lots of dental work done and he has always been such a pleasure every time I visit. I was late for my appointment, however the Dr. was still able to see me. The entire staff helped me feel comfortable and at ease. I have sever anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, but they have helped me work through it. I would never go to anyone else. Oh, and Dr. Creaghe

Always a fantastic experience. Dr. Creaghe painlessly prepped and installed a new crown and took plenty of time to explain everything that he was doing. His staff is always warm and professional and I always feel like I'm in good hands when I arrive at his office.
