After his graduation from Ohio State University College of Dentistry, Dr. Richard Godfroy began his career in the Air Force Dental Corps. After a two-year tour at Andrews Air Force Base, he left the service in 1976 and came to the Cincinnati area to practice dentistry.
A member of the American and Ohio Dental Associations, the Cincinnati Dental Society and a founding member of the East Side Dental Study Club, Dr. Godfroy continues to study dentistry, averaging 30-40 hours of continuing education each year.
Participating in educational programs is the best way to remain informed of the latest advancements in dental technology, he says. It allows me to provide my patients with the best dental care possible.
Julie, our Dental Hygienist, came to ourpractice in March of 2004. She graduated from Raymond Walters of the University of Cincinnati. Before hygiene school, Julie was an expanded duty dental assistant and has over 10 years experience in all aspects of the dental office. She enjoys working with children and helping anxious patients become comfortable in the dental chair.
Tonya, our Dental Hygienist, joined our team in April of 2010. She graduated from Raymond Walters of the University of Cincinnati. Before coming to our office Tonya worked for a Periodontist specializing in gum health for 10 years. Tonya enjoys traveling, cooking, camping, crafts and gardening.
Sandy, our Dental Hygienist, came to ourpracticein July 2013. She graduated from Shawnee State University. She has over 30 years of Dental experience. She has been a hygienist for 21 years and prior to that she was a dental assistant. She is very knowledgable of dental health and will help you maintain yours. Sandy likes to travel, cook and is a avid reader.
Debbie, our Dental Assistant, brings 27 years of dental experience to our practice. Her dental career started in 1988 assisting in the front office and later transitioningto the position of Dental Assistant. Debbie is CPR/AED and Nitrous Oxide Sedation certified. Debbie enjoys traveling, crafts and spending time with her family..
Linda, our Business Manager, joined our team in 2014. Her dental career began in 1980 in the business side of the dental world and has remained there ever since. She is CPR/AED certified. Linda is also an ASP Certified Home Stager and enjoys her home staging business, traveling, crafts and cooking.

What a wonderful experience! Dr. Yim is absolutely the best dentist I have been to in all of my 68 years. And the staff is GREAT! If you have been leery of going to the dentist you will be so comfortable with this practice. THE BEST! Beth Adams

Had a cleaning 11.21. Presented my insurance card, no problem. Now, 03.22 Irecieve a bill. Informed I was "out of network". Was never told when making the appointment, never told when checking in. Told now 5 months later. Be VERY careful this does not happen to you. BTW, all 3 credit reporting firms, Experian. etc., no longer report unpaid medical invoices anymore. Buyer beware.

I had been with the same dentist for about 30 years so I was worried about switching. But I'm happy I did. They are so nice, I had a problem with my tooth they got me right in and repaired it. I'm happy I gave them a chance.

My crowns needed to be replaced because they were failing and definitely unsightly. Every time I smiled I was so aware of my teeth that it bothered me a lot, to a point were I didn't wanted to be in a picture anymore. Having been a patient of Dr. Godfroy for many years, I decided to ask his opinion. Yes there was definitely room for improvement! Now with the knowledge of going forward for replacement came the paperwork, which could be another headache. I'm not very savvy about Health insurance and etc., but because of the friendly knowledgeable staff of Dr. Godfroy this was taken care of too. Everything from insurance process to the actual procedure was explained to me in detail. At no point did I ever feel that I was being rushed or being brushed off. The time came to move forward, but with that my anxiety shot through the roof. ( Even receiving a gentle cleaning does that to me). Again here comes the staff in the picture. Encouragement, support and warm hearted people surrounded me every step of the way and off course Dr. Godfroy's endless patience with me. Honestly I felt more like family than just being a paying patient. The replacement went well and now I can't stop looking in the mirror. I smile as much as I can, openly at every reflection at myself. Yes I'm beautiful! There are no words to describe what difference it makes to me. A lot of Dentists can give you a "perfect" gorgeous pearly white smile, but to make it look natural like it's meant to be like that, that's were the experience and knowledge comes in. Dr. Godfroy definitely deserves an A+! Thank you and your staff for all you have done, my words aren't enough to express my gratitude! Regarding the COVID-19 Dr. Godfroy and Staff always at all times wore a mask, sanitized equipment right away very detailed too.

I went to have an abscessed tooth pulled, the entire staff is very professional and polite. Dentist godfroy is very skilled at what he does. I felt no pain and what little pain I did feel he stopped and addressed it. The office staff called me later in the day to check on my condition, I was still bleeding when they called they advised me to put a tea bag on it witch stopped the bleeding.. approx two hours after that Mr godfroy personally called me to be sure everything was okay.. I will definitely be returning to his office. I highly recommend him.
