I was a patient with Dr. Diaz for many years. When Charles Town Smiles took over his practice after his much deserved retirement, I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. The hygienists and dentist are fabulous, and I love their yearly plan that includes two cleanings, x-rays, and a fluoride treatment for one affordable price. It even provides 20% off additional services, such as a filling. What a great idea for people like me with no dental insurance. Honestly, I think this plan is better than the dental insurance I had while working. I've told all my friends about it. Kudos to Charles Town Smiles and their new dental club.

Met new staff and Dr Armentrout today, they were all warm and friendly and fit right in with the rest of the team at this office. They gave thorough service and were very kind. Definitely recommend!

I just had my first appointment with Charles Town Smiles a few weeks ago. They say a first impression is a lasting one, and I definitely had a great one. Before I even stepped foot in the office, my first interaction was with Allan. Allan was so friendly from the first time we spoke. He made sure everything was good to go with my insurance and ensured things ran smoothly. When my son and I came in for our appointments, the dental assistant was incredibly friendly and did our x-rays. Then, we got to meet Dr. Salas. He was just as friendly as everyone else and did a great job explaining what the next steps would be. I couldn't be happier with my choice to go with Charles Town Smiles. If you're looking for an amazing staff, a beautiful office and quality dental service, I highly recommend this practice.

This was my first visit under this establishment! I was nervous at first but everyone made me feel very comfortable and gave me helpful advice for better dental hygiene. It was a very good experience. Everyone was very nice!

Being in the medical field myself I can say that Dr.Richard Diaz is one of the best and experienced Dentists I ever had, with great dexterity and a good sense of humor, I will be missing him after his retirement; as for his personnel Dana and Alex, they have exceeded my expectations as professionals and kind, thank you guys! Happy retirement Dr.Diaz!

Excellent service. Donna is an exceptional administrator. Dr. Diaz tapped his extensive experience to come up with the least intrusive means to alleviate my pain, which has worked. Very pleased!

My visit was great from beginning to end. I was greeted promptly upon entering and then taken back shortly for my exam. My hygienist was very pleasant as well as extremely professional. I appreciated that she explained everything so that I was able to understand. Thanks for making this a good experience!

Went for my 6 month cleaning and checkup recently. Everyone was professional and pleasant. Elizabeth cleaned my teeth and did an outstanding job! She is very knowledgeable, professional, and so pleasant. I highly recommend!

My family and I spent 20+ years using this practice. My Mother recently went thru emergency surgery to remove one of four brain tumors that weren't discovered until she was almost dead due to the symptoms one brought. Thank God they were able to remove it. She had a week to get into the dentist between healing from surgery and starting radiation therapy to the brain. She had a large cavity that needed to be repaired and would not be able to once radiation and chemo started due to infection risks. During that week, the office staff assured me there was no room in the schedule. They wouldn't let me speak to Dr. Diaz personally (I know he would have made time for her had he known what was going on and yes this was before he announced retirement). So you don't have room in your schedules for emergencies? My family of 6 has since moved to a different practice that has been more than helpful and accommodating. The 6 of us are dental disasters. That's a lot of money you all will lose. I only gave 2 stars out of respect for for Dr. Diaz himself. We did enjoy you as our dentist. The office staff should get 0. Right before this, they refused to see my demented father because he hadn't been there in 3 years, and he would be considered a new patient. They weren't accepting new patients at the time. I mean come on. Our seniors don't have dental coverage so they don't make appointments for no reason. Have some compassion. Again, had Dr Diaz known I need an appointment (wasn't even asking for an "emergency" appointment..just to make a regular appointment) he would have allowed it. He always asked about dad when we were in there for what ever reason. The office staff will ruin this practice.

Dr. Diaz and Dr. Payne and the staff at this office are all amazing. We have been going there for many years. My daughter actually looks forward to her dental visits. I had bad experiences with dentists as a child and as a result I dreaded dental appointments and I would have severe anxiety. But that's no longer a problem for me. The staff (doctors, hygienists and office) all go out of their way to listen to my fears and accommodate whatever makes me and my family feel comfortable. I never ever have a long waiting room wait and to me that is remarkable when I compare to other doctors/dentists that I have had in the past. I don't know if they are accepting new patients but I would highly recommend this place.

De. Diaz was our family dentist throughout my childhood. He actually gave me my first, proper job in high school which ultimately guided me toward my career today. We weren't a family with very much money, but he was always skilled, competent, and healthful. If you or your family are fortunate enough to call him your dentist, you will be in fantastic hands!
