Dr. Barbee has provided dental care for families of Knoxville since 1982. He is originally from Pensacola, Florida. Dr. Barbee received his doctorate degree (D.D.S.) from UT College of Dentistry in Memphis, Tennessee. After dental school, Dr. Barbee went on to earn a Master's Degree (MS) in Nutrition from the University of Tennessee.

New Dentistry is a wonderful facility. They care about their patients' overall health, not just their dental health. They have continued to provide outstanding care even though Dr. Barbee has passed.

New dentistry was great! I went in for a regular dental cleaning and everyone was very polite and professional. Jessica cleaned my teeth and she was very nice! I was very impressed with New Dentistry!

Just moved to Knoxville a year ago and needed to find a dentist for my son and I. Loved this amazing staff, so thorough, informative and friendly. Really made my son and I feel like we had been coming for years. Dr. Mercer was so kind and did not hesitate to answer my questions, took his time with explaining any procedures needed. Definitely making this our new dentist!!
