Dr. Sarah Prehn is originally from Kingston, NY. Her mother worked as a dental assistant, and after shadowing her in high school at the office, she knew she wanted to be a dentist. Dr. Prehn completed her undergraduate degree at the State University of New York at New Paltz. She then went on to graduate with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University as the top woman in her class, and obtained her Orthodontic Certificate from Saint Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY. After residency, Dr. Prehn became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. To further her dental knowledge, Dr. Prehn attends conferences and courses throughout the year. Her most recent coursework includes completing an advanced fellowship in clear aligner treatment. Dr. Prehn is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society, the American Dental Association and the Pennsylvania Dental Association.
When asked why she chose orthodontics as her profession, Dr. Prehn said: Practicing orthodontics allows me to help people in many ways. Some people seeking treatment are unhappy with the position of their teeth and want to straighten them for aesthetic purposes. For these patients, giving them the smile of their dreams gives them self-confidence. Other people are looking to correct more serious problems that affect eating, speaking and tasks that help them function in life. Whether their problem is mild or severe, it is so rewarding to see patients walking out of the office feeling happy about their treatment.
Dr. Prehn now lives in Wynnewood, PA with her husband, Joseph and her kitten, Maisie. When she isnt working, you can usually find her outside running. Her other favorite pastimes include going to musical concerts, traveling, reading and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Prehn is a singer and plays the trombone and piano. In addition to her work in the office, Dr. Prehn volunteers her time at local health fairs, performing dental screenings and teaching people about keeping their teeth healthy. She is also an active member in her church, getting to know her neighbors and giving back to the community.

Since I've gotten braces I've always had great experience at rich orthodontist. The Montgomeryville location is the best in my opinion, and I'm always in and out. Dr. Hashemi has been amazing, knows what he's talking about and doing, and is very efficient with his work. BUT TODAY! I had to write this review because of his dental assistant Jasmine. She was impeccable ! Not only did she work well with getting me in and out, but she was hilarious. If I was having a bad day I'm sure she would've helped cheer me up. She got the job done expeditiously, double checked her work, and made sure I was good with it myself before I walked out. She was very pleasant and still kept it professional the entire time. We need more jasmines in all the offices across the US ! She'll make someone who doesn't like dental work look forward to coming back to see her. (Chefs Kiss*) if I could give the office more than 5stars I would, thanks to everyone there.

Worse service ever- stay away No one ever picks up the calls, it always goes to appointment scheduling We never can talk to anyone in the office With COVID it's even worse We dont know what is going on with the treatment, they shd atleast email abt what is going on with the braces plan if they can't meet and talk face to face Front office staff is Very Rude The patient has to wait for more that 40 mins some time but we can't be 10 mins late for appointments No value for customers time With COVID it's Very unsafe to stay in a small waiting area Repenting coming here Update: I appreciate the owner replying for a every review but what change has been done since this is still a question? I see the phone option changing but still people dont pick up calls or don't return calls please have someone work on that. The front office was friendlier in the last visit.

They don't really care about you but your money. They neglected my teeth and it shifted back and then it took longer for my teeth to be "fixed"...when they removed my braces they were so rough they chipped several of my teeth and did not take responsibility for it. I would t recommend them unless you have pretty "nice" teeth to begin with.

I started my journey in November of 2019. Although the office I started at was very small and congestion the service was amazing. Throughout my journey I've received services at the Willow Grove and Montgomery offices with out incidents. There was even a time when I needed an emergency appointment and I was able to visit the office in Darby (I believe that's the location) the same day I called. I've never had a problem with any staff, doctors or billing. My only issue was due to Covid I missed or had to reschedule adjustments but Rich Orthodontics was always helpful. Even with late payments they continued to work with me. Yes I'd recommend this practice just as I was referred by others and have referred some people myself. It's all about what you make it. Thank you to all the staff especially during the times we have been through. I'm a few months away from remodel of my braces and I very pleased with the process so far!

Worst worst practice ever. They are working only 1day a week Wed and that day is your only chance to reach them.. if missed and you will cus theyNEVER pick up your call better luck after a week Dental emergencies wait 1 week pr more if is happens wed evening Never pick up calls Never call back Repenting coming here STAY AWAY Receptionist says u shd have left a mssg like they ever check it if left SOO many still dont hear back
