Dr. Sarah Prehn is originally from Kingston, NY. Her mother worked as a dental assistant, and after shadowing her in high school at the office, she knew she wanted to be a dentist. Dr. Prehn completed her undergraduate degree at the State University of New York at New Paltz. She then went on to graduate with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University as the top woman in her class, and obtained her Orthodontic Certificate from Saint Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY. After residency, Dr. Prehn became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. To further her dental knowledge, Dr. Prehn attends conferences and courses throughout the year. Her most recent coursework includes completing an advanced fellowship in clear aligner treatment. Dr. Prehn is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society, the American Dental Association and the Pennsylvania Dental Association.
When asked why she chose orthodontics as her profession, Dr. Prehn said: Practicing orthodontics allows me to help people in many ways. Some people seeking treatment are unhappy with the position of their teeth and want to straighten them for aesthetic purposes. For these patients, giving them the smile of their dreams gives them self-confidence. Other people are looking to correct more serious problems that affect eating, speaking and tasks that help them function in life. Whether their problem is mild or severe, it is so rewarding to see patients walking out of the office feeling happy about their treatment.
Dr. Prehn now lives in Wynnewood, PA with her husband, Joseph and her kitten, Maisie. When she isnt working, you can usually find her outside running. Her other favorite pastimes include going to musical concerts, traveling, reading and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Prehn is a singer and plays the trombone and piano. In addition to her work in the office, Dr. Prehn volunteers her time at local health fairs, performing dental screenings and teaching people about keeping their teeth healthy. She is also an active member in her church, getting to know her neighbors and giving back to the community.

I got my braces for the first time and had some new comer do it and my brackets came off within 2 days . I didn't eat anything hard , mostly smoothies and it popped off. Guessing they didn't glue it right .

I had my first visit today with my child. When we entered, one of the staff member told me to take the paperwork and step out because the office is small and they accept only patients. She didn't care that this is our first visit, neither that my child is a loopminor. I stepped out and found that it was raining. So, I returned to the entrance and started writing the paper while standing. The same girl came back and told me that I have to be out. I explained to her that outside is raining and all of the papers and me will be wet. She said: " Go to your car". Did she ask if I have a car at the moment? Another thing was the policy that if they give you two appointments in the afternoon, the next two has to be in the morning. This means that my kid needs to be pulled out of school every 6 weeks, just because they don't want to be flexible. I am not going back there. Not recommended at all.

Beautiful office! Filling out paperwork online was tough, so one of the phone representatives patiently helped me with it. The doctor was very good with my son, and answered all my questions thoroughly during the consult.

Its getting worse and worse. A lot of clients not enough staf . They cancel twice emergency apt How long l need to wait for emergency apt ? How many weeks ? I got dismissed. Because l paid 4000 and l ask for my rights. When l have apt l don't have to wait at least 1 hour to be taken ( always ) ,hard time to contact the office at least 1 h waiting time again . When they did a wrong job you need to wait again. What happened with this place ? Yes lm disrespectful becomes l paid for good service not for that kind of show

Very Unprofessional, Negligence is high at this location, education is lacked I don't recommend at all , I complained about not sending my paperwork to my insurance which caused me to have to pay out of pocket so now they're refusing me because complaining is "Rude" & They tried to scam me by not sending my insurance all of my paperwork & my insurance denied me So if your insurance covers ortho & you came here & got denied through your insurance Yea You got scammed too Well ian get scammed cause that aint gangsta but They sure did give it a good try Good game
