Been a fan of Dr Jim and his staff for about 6 years now.....always friendly, professional and competent with all dental needs. Appointments are always on time and any dental issues are fully explained by Dr Jim before making any decisions on appropriate treatment.

You could not find two better dentists than Dr. Jim and Dr. Jennifer. They are competent, friendly and trustworthy. And their dental hygienist staff, like Kaitlyn at my visit today, is top notch.

Got to the chair on schedule and cleaning was well done. Dr. Jim examined my teeth and made an adjustment to a biting issue which has helped. Friendly staff!

Did a really bad job on my teeth .over charged so much and now it's going to cost me more to fix there messed up work .I do not recommend at all .unless it's something small and your in pain. It was the woman who messed up on my teeth .I don't give bad reviews unless it's costing me a lot and the work is really bad

The unexpected happened while I was a guest at Wintergreen resort this past August - a molar fractured. Yikes! How to find a local dentist who was competent and willing to treat someone from out-of-state?? I began my search and came across the website for Rice & Rice Family Dentistry in Nellysford - just down the mountain from Wintergreen. Somewhere on their website, it was mentioned that they took emergency dental appointments. I called and within 24 hours, I had an appointment with Dr. Jim. He and all of the staff were so kind, welcoming, and understanding of my dental predicament. Dr. Jim got the tooth repaired such that it would last until I see my own dentist back in Pennsylvania. And Dr. Rice wrote a note for me to take back to my regular dentist. I highly recommend this dental practice. Thank you, Dr. Rice!

Have been so lucky to find this dental practice in my own neighborhood. Professional and friendly. Doctors Rice know your history before coming in to examine you . Very impressed with them and their wonderful staff . My husband and I are very happy with them.

Well my second time there and once again I must say these guys are awesome . Katlyn and Anna were super nice and they are good at what they do as was the whole staff as always . And Dr Rice was really down to earth always makes me feel like I'm not even at a dentist office . He took the time to help show me some options. Down to earth vibe in the whole place !!

Was in the area for the week and needed an extraction. Dr James Rice, dental assistants and office staff were awesome. They all were helpful from the phone call to the procedure.

Ashley Fann is a fantastic hygienist! (My favorite!) Jim and Jennifer are great dentists. Like the local feel they give patients. There's already too much corporate in healthcare. Glad they haven't lost their way in all of this and continue making the patient the priority. Not the company.

They're both great dentist. Dr. Jennifer is my favorite. I really appreciate each staff member I have interacted with in the process. I've been going to the Nellysford location for over 18 months now. I just had my first cavity filled, and it's the first time in my adult life a dentist hasn't hurt me, even with something as simple as injecting the Novocain. These are personnel who one only sees every 6 months and yet they remember me and our conversations better than I do. The process is streamlined, yet doesn't take away from a personalized experience.
