In the field of dentistry, it is required that every dentist complete 20 hours of Continued Education every two years, however, Dr.Taylor Ricehas completed over 500 hours of Continued Education, including advanced coursework at the prestigious Kois Center. This training, along with a rigorous written examination, qualified him to joina select group of dentists worldwide by earning his Fellowship in the esteemed Academy of General Dentistry.His commitment to excel in his field by continuing his education is one of the many reasons patients trust him.

In addition to the Crown Council honor, Dr. Taylor Rice was also awarded a gift of a small group education experience with Dr. David Hornbrook, a recognized leader in the field of dentistry. Dr. Rice trained under Dr. Hornbrook over multiple hands-on courses and participated in creating dental smile makeovers for individuals that are unable to afford proper dental care. Dr. Rice chose a patient who may not have been able to afford the dental treatment that was needed. In so doing, he continues the legacy of the Crown Council ideals.

In September of 2015, Dr. Rice and his wife, Amy, traveled down to the Dominican Republic on a dental service humanitarian trip with the Crown Council charity called Smiles for Hope. Each day they set up their mobile clinic in remote villages, sometimes outside under a tarp, and saw patients from morning until night. They were able to serve individuals who have never received dental care in any capacity throughout their life. This was an incredibly humbling experience that really helped to bring into focus the reason Dr. Rice chose dentistry as a profession, which is to help others in a capacity they could otherwise not perform themselves.

Dr. Ravon has received dental degrees from both European and American institutions, with a Licentiate in Dental Surgery from the Free University of Brussels and a Doctorate of Dental Science from the University of Southern California. He then received his specialist certification in periodontology and his Master of Science in Dentistry from the University of Washington.

Dr. Rice and Dr. Ravon first met at the Kois Center in Seattle, where they have both attained the rank of Mentor and teach other dentists about advanced concepts and procedures in dentistry. When they discovered that they shared a passion for quality dentistry and were virtually neighbors (Dr. Ravon has his own practice in Beverly Hills), they decided to form an alliance.

As Rice Dentistrys periodontist, Dr. Ravon aims to provide every patient with healthy gums. With healthy gums, comes good oral health. He is a skilled gum graft surgeon and has performed hundreds of procedures to reverse the effects of receding gums. Hes dedicated to providing every patient with the comfort and relief they deserve in addition to beautiful, healthy results. Dr. Ravon is also the son of a dentist, following in his fathers footsteps. He grew up watching how much of a difference personalized care made in the quality of every patient visit. Today, he provides his own patients with the same personal care he witnessed at his fathers dental office as a child.

Wendy loves dentistry and takes pleasure in seeing patients lives transformed by the smiles Dr. Rice creates for them! She is an expert in helping patients understand their treatment plan as well as guiding them through the process to completion both comfortably and efficiently. Wendy has worked with Dr Scott Rice for close to 20 years as his office manager and patient advocate. If there is anything funny, silly or exciting going on in the office, you can bet Wendy is behind it! Wendy loves being actively involved in church service, acting, playing the piano, spending time with her family, hiking, boating and traveling to foreign lands.

Becky has spent her entire career in the dental profession, both in the back and front office. The last 13 years as the Scheduling Coordinator for Rice Dentistry. She enjoys dealing with people and assisting them with their concerns. Her focus is to make dentistry a welcome aspect of the patients healthcare, from the moment you enter the door until you leave with your dental needs fulfilled.

The knowledge that there is no finer dental office in the area makes this much more satisfying. Becky is proud of the service we provide and patient feedback is a reflection of our efforts. Becky also enjoys reading and exercising, and spending time with her family and friends.

She started her career in dentistry at the age of 16, working in her mothers dental office who was an assistant. She enjoys movies, music, and travel with her husband Craig, of 33 years. She has 2 daughters, her oldest, an actress in Seattle and her youngest, a musician and music education teacher. Tracy finds great joy in caring for her patients and helping them see the value of healthy teeth and gums and how it is linked to their overall body health.

Miki graduated for USC Dental Hygiene in 1982. Coming from a dental background, her father and brothers are Dentists, she loves keeping current with the newest in dental development. She enjoys travel and is extremely adventurous. She stays in shape by running a household of 5 children, which keeps her prepared for the marathons she runs.

Genevieve is passionate about dentistry and has been practicing for about 7 years acquiring her RDA in 2008. She is a Southern California native, who recently relocated back to the area to be closer to family and friends. Genevieve cherishes time spent relaxing with here 19-year-old daughter. She enjoys going to the beach, the art of glass blowing and sewing. In her spare time she loves to create delicious Italian dishes, barbeque, and on the sweeter side, likes to bake cakes and cookies.

Manuela (Nellie) was born in Mexico and raised in Tecate, Baja California. She attended Bocanegra College for four years and in 1987, immigrated to the United States seeking better opportunities in life for her and her son. In 1989, she was introduced to the world of dentistry and has been passionate about it ever since. She attended UCLA where she acquired her RDAEF and has now been in the field for over 24 years. Nellie loves to Salsa dance and is a very talented cook, creating Mexican dishes from her childhood roots. She also cherishes spending time with her son and granddaughter.

Melissa was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, receiving her Dental Hygiene Degree in 2002. Her husbands job transfer led the family to Orange County in March of 2015. After completing her California Dental Hygiene requirements, she has been working with Rice Dentistry since July 2015. Melissa enjoys using her Southern hospitality to build relationships with each patient and improving their quality of life through good oral hygiene. When not practicing dental hygiene, Melissa enjoys spending time watching her 3 kids play sports, traveling to tropical places, and spending time at the local beaches.

Ann, a Southern California native, graduated top of her class from the OC Dental Academy. She has a thirst for continuing education and is the queen of multi-tasking. She is able to accomplish detail oriented tasks with accuracy, while directing the clinical team in a high paced environment. Her witty and positive attitude radiates throughout the office.

Ann cherishes time spent in the great outdoors with her family, watching her son surf and moments with her daughter. Enjoying a simple sunset or sunrise, mountain biking, hiking, running, swimming, and playing the piano, Ann strives for a healthy lifestyle. When time allows, Ann can be found exploring the beautiful landscapes of Portland, Oregon with her brother and sister.
