Good dentists. Horrible at paperwork. Went twice. First time they filed the insurance and got reimbursed XX amount. They then sent me a bill. When I added my bill plus what the insurance paid them, the total was for more than the initial amount due. When I called to question it, they just dropped it. Second time I went, I had new insurance. We provided our new insurance info and they verified they were in network with no costs for regular cleaning. Then we got a bill. I called my insurance and they explained that Riccobene filed a half-completed claim, which resulted in it being filed as an out of network visit. My last visit with them was April 2022 and it's November and I'm still trying to get it straightened out. Not worth the hassle with them. I found a new dentist that can work on teeth and insurance competently.

Very happy with the way everyone worked as a real team. They worked me in when I needed to see a dentist fast. They explained things perfectly. Going back to have a real bad tooth pulled. They took pictures, and x-ray and explained to me what had to be done. Thanks David

I went here for the first time this week and had x rays and cleaning. Like so many others I'm a bit dentist phobic, but I have to say, this was a completely stress free experience. My hygienist, Amber, was excellent, and very nice. The office itself is not only clean as a whistle, but really nicely decorated. Im going back for a consultation on some other work. I would highly recommend.

Everyone at this office was extremely friendly and professional! I am so glad we decided to move our family care to this practice after another dentist pushed to up-sell my husband on unnecessary expensive dental services. The dental hygienists took their time with my children - I was pleasantly surprised with how well they worked with pediatric patients (6 & 13 yr old). They did a fantastic job of explaining what they were doing on a level that the kids could understand yet keeping it playful and fun. Do not hesitate to make this your family dentist!!!

I had to have two fillings redone from years ago. I'm not the easiest dental patient. I have a very easy to stimulate gag reflex. Both the dentist and the assistant were understanding and compassionate. So glad they chose to practice in Oak Island and Southport. Dr Clayton Rodgers is fantatic

Dr Durant, knows I am afraid of needles. She had to give me shots to work on two teeth today. She really made me feel relaxed, explained everything as she was doing it. Once numbed I was good and she was done before I even knew it. She is really the best, awesome, I always recommend Dr Durant and Carolyn the hygienist. Today I also met Dr Durant's assistant, she was awesome as well. Riccobene and the staff, all workers are truly a breath of fresh air. A great practice.

How is it even possible that Doctor Blazzio isn't a full time dentist at Riccobene . By far the best dentist at the southport office. I had a issue she addressed She corrected it.. Professional and highly skilled and she laid out multiple visits to conquer issue. Wish she was there full time. Jc
