Ayoung but ever-spirited Dr. Riar began his education atSing Lum Elementary, Lakeside Middle and Stockdale High School, where he then spent many weeks job-shadowing an orthopedic surgeon and dentist. As his passion for dentistry grew he attended undergrad at UCLA and went on to graduate from dental school at Case Western.As he continues providingthe Bakersfield community with a familial level of care, Dr. Riar is proud to be your familys local dentist.

As a Registered Dental Assistant Brianna will be your go to for all things dental health. Her easygoing attitude will help you commit to flossing for good and will keep your teeth in their best condition thanks to her care.
Krystal is the organization and insurance specialist she creates an atmosphere that keeps Dr. Riar and the patient family smiling at all times.When shes not managing the office she assists patients in creating their customized dental plans.

I drive 2 hours one way to visit Dr. Riar and his excellent staff. At 70 years old, I have not found a more qualified, personable and skilled dentist in any of the places I've lived across the country. I trust him to give the right diagnosis and skillfully deliver treatment. They are simply the best, and replaced two crowns today, quickly and pain free.

Very professional - I was a walk in and was in pain with some broken teeth and I was very happy to be seen later that day. Dr Riar was very personable and explained the process that was done that day but also the future treatment of my dental needs. Thank you so very much!

I just started going to this dental office a couple of weeks ago and they're very nice and I enjoyed . The doctor is very gentle. Reception are very nice and they try to help you The one thing that I don't like it's their statements the information on the bills is not very easy to understand. my last visit the reception and made a mistake with my bill. The office is very nice and cleaned I do I do recommend it.

Just went in for a regular 6 month clean up was told by the technician that I was "showing some bone" I asked what could be done to prevent further loss and I was just told to use an electric tooth brush and a water flosser. I don't believe Dr. Riar was in the office but I would have liked to discuss other preventative treatment options. I really like Dr. Riar and have referred several friends to his practice but I was disappointed to be offered any other options to help any further loss.

Great place. Very friendly staff. I am driving from Pasadena and it is 100% worth it. They educate and explain what is going on and are very accommodating to my teeth sensitivity. Dr. Riar is amazing as well, he is willing to come up with a plan of care to help with things before jumping to a procedure. He doesn't do things to just charge you. Great place!! 10/10 would recommend.

It has been incredible there! Im really happy with the experience Dr. Riar has provided. Super cool and chill dude and the staff is great. Im always nervous going to the dentist but it means alot knowing you have a great dr on your side. Dr. Riar and his entire staff are incredible! My husband and I both have had quite a bit of work done and feel taken care of each visit. Dr. Riar brings a human touch to his practice that I've not experienced anywhere else, and really takes the time to make sure you understand the treatment plan. I had some complications with my health insurance / FSA and the front office staff were very kind and empathetic throughout. Would highly recommend this office.

We have been getting referred all over the place for my daughter's teeth. First place only took adults and kids with zero problems. They said send her to pediatric dentist, that they couldn't help and made me feel like a bad parent, so I booked the pediatric dentist. My husband went and it wasn't clean enough plus they didnt explain the issues and instead laid out how much it would cost first. We booked another one switchibg to a ppo and booking way in advance, then they stopped taking our insurance after the first of the year. So, I booked Dr Riar. He was able to give me a straightforward description of what is wrong with her teeth as well as some board certified pediatric dentists in town. The office is spotlessly clean and the staff is exceedingly kind. Dr. Riar is honest and straightforward. While we need to go elsewhere for my daughter I recommend this dentist.
