They are the absolute worst. Can't get in to get cleaning for months, because they can't keep dentist's. Canceled on me twice and then when I had to cancel last minute, I can't make another appointment with them for a year. After 2 apts already my mouth problems are still the same. Never going to them again!

Absolutely horrendous The staff do not know how to do anything I had a Referral for wisdom teeth removal and they waited 2 years to call me back to tell me "we aren't going to see you " and to "call or look somewhere else "

Very nice oral surgery staff. One of the few places that accept our insurance. Thankful for the caring people that dedicate their lives to helping when they could turn us away like most facilities do these days.

Wish I could give this dentist negative stars! They are one of the only dentist in town that take badger care they referred my son to a dentist in Green Bay to have oral surgery the dentist in Green Bay was amazing. Today my 4 yr old banged heads with another kid at day care and knocked out a crown and Rhinelander Dental Center won't see him they said I have to take him back to Green Bay so now my baby has to wait 3 weeks before anyone can even look at the tooth that was knocked out! Nice customer service

My appts were canceled last April. I was told they would call when available. No call. So I called them. "WE ARE ONLY TAKING EMERGENCY patients. Not happy with their services. Dr. Fiebke was a great Dentist there and has now retired. My husband had requested Dr. Fiebke, before he retired, and they wanted a reason why the dentist he did see was not working out. "I just dont feel comfortable" they pressed further, and several phone conversations later, was denied a different dentist. Not returning there due to poor customer service at the front end of this clinic.

Thus far I give only two stars, the surgery consult was not a good experience, receptionist was on the phone wanting to know if there was penne pasta in the cabinet for dinner while patients were waiting to check in and out, nursing staff disorganized, the surgeon she did not have that great of a bedside manner, by the time she was done talking with my daughter, my daughter was in tears, I'm hoping the surgery will go better, will update review after surgery,

Another oral surgeon referred them to me because they were booked solid. I called and I got voicemail (which I was expecting because of what the other place had said). I got a call back the next day, super sweet lady, seemed eager to get me in because the gums around my teeth were swollen. She told me to call back the next day to see if my xrays were sent over. I called, voicemail, left a message. Not a single call back. Called Thursday, nothing. Called Friday, nothing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! Horrible customer service!!

I will NEVER go back to this facility. I really suggest if you need the oral surgery department to definitely look elsewhere. A rock has more compassion than any staff who work there in that department. I will forever be traumatized and I don't even know if I'll be able to go to another dental clinic again because I was treated so poorly there. I never write reviews on places but I hope this saves someone from having a horrible experience when they are actually suppose to make you feel comfortable and safe which I DID NOT.

I've been going to Dr. Novak here for three years and have had nothing but GREAT experiences! I needed a lot of fillings so I ended up seeing him probably 10 times all included which, itself, isn't fun, but I couldn't have gotten a better dentist to work with. He and the staff were always great about letting me know what was going on with my teeth and asking my opinion on things/letting me know my options, and being kind and personable. I've never had problems with the fillings or anything else. I used to drive over an hour to get there, now 2 hours, and they keep a pretty full schedule (don't expect to get in right away unless it's a true emergency) but it's totally worth it for the great service and peace of mind!!

Had tooth extraction done today as goofy as this sounds it was a pleasant experience. Dr Novak was awesome at keeping me calm as he knew I was nervous. The nurse assisting him was awesome too holding my hand when I got nervous. Thank you and Happy holiday!

I've never had to sit in the waiting room long, everyone has been amply personable, and I appreciate that they took the time to make sure they did a good job.

Roof of mouth was cut on accident during extraction. It took longer to heal than where my tooth was pulled. She had made it sound like it was almost nothing. This time, right now, my teeth hurt- starting with one tooth that's been discolored for a couple years and dentist did not examine it when I mentioned it. She looked, but not behind. Now the tooth next to it is aching as well. She should have taken a proper look. I go there only because I have no where else to go.

This is the best dentist you will find in the area period. I have been to dentist my whole life from Georgia to Wisconsin this is the best place. The staff is super kind and I never feel judged here. Dr. Karr ( not sure if I spelt that correct) is great! She is super gentle and fast but not just that she listens. I need a lot of work done her and the staff do a wonderful job and I will not be changing dentist for a long time! Thank you all so much for the great job you do and the positive atmosphere you provide!

Friendly staff. Dr. Novak does top notch work. Fixed a front tooth I thought would never be able to be saved....and also has a good sense of humor. Could use the nitrous more often though, and turn it up a bit more as well.

!!!!!ATTENTION!!!!!! If you have a child, especially a child with any special requirements for treatment keep them AWAY from Dr.Mastey!!!! My god daughter with special needs was taken in on an emergency basis for a deep cavity he acted completely incompetent when it came to working with children. No matter what the children's/patients needs are as a medical professional your trained on how to handle them. He on the other hand was absolutely rude. He prematurely started drilling before the medication had time to fully take effect, then once the patient started to react so did he, and not in a professional manner. Tossing equipment, he tried to actually walk away from the patient saying "I don't have time for this" once he came back he was so aggressive and intimidating that he would not allow her a break so she ended up throwing up, and the "Doctor" just kept drilling her tooth. Her mother actually had to tell him stop to get that taken care of!He ended up filling her tooth without getting all the decay (His words) and finished the appointment by saying "other doctors maybe able to handle her BUT I CANT" and all she needed was a little break. So not only is the issue not completely resolved but she's absolutely terrified to have it looked at again considering. So please see any other practitioners within this establishment EXCEPT Dr.Mastey

It's a real shame it has come to this. This has become a terrible dental clinic, what once was a shining light for those who cannot afford dental care has become a misery to be treated for any dental malady, for me personally I had been seeing a dentist at this clinic for years and while I can't say he didn't appear to do a good job he always came across as a complete jerk, talking down to you and never had the extra second to hear any concerns I ever had, but all seemed well enough with the care provided and after numerous X-rays of my teeth (which I might add I personally don't want done because I have had too much exposure to radiation already) but after much arm twisting I agree reluctantly to have a set of X-rays taken and was told all looked well and was sent home, less than 3 weeks later I was eating some chips and my back molar cracked a shard clean off, luckily I managed to save it and looked at it and saw the inside of the shard was black from rot and went back to the clinic a few days later and the first thing out of the dentists mouth was and I quote "What did you bite into?" if it was meant to be dry humor which it was not, it was a very poor way to open the discussion which we were to have. I told him what had happened and asked why he could not see this obviously rotten tooth on the X-rays he so desperately needed to have and was told "sometimes we can't see everything." I was outraged by such an idiotic answer then was told the tooth was not rotted anyhow and I pulled out the shard and practically pulled him around to look at the black and decaying tooth shard and said "this is not rotten?" he took the shard and never answered me and stole/destroyed/confiscated the shard and said that the tooth would have to be rebuilt/repaired and to set up the utensils to do it to which I responded "It certainly does need to be fixed and it will not be done by you!" and left the clinic and later called the head of the clinic to schedule an appointment with another dentist after doing my research on all the dentists working at the clinic and choosing the best one I could choose from and told the head of the clinic what had happened thus to explain the reasons for my somewhat unorthodox scheduling and (this is just my perspective of the phone call) it seemed to me the lady I spoke with had the tone of someone who was accustomed to hearing complaints about this dentist. Later on my tooth was repaired and is holding strong to this day. But yesterday I had my annual checkup and was going in the morning and by dame fortune my mother had called in the office the day before (a Wednesday) for an emergency for her back teeth had cracked and they told her to come in the same morning but to be expect to wait for what could be hours.....So I took my mother with me to the clinic and got myself called back and I commended my dentist on a job well done in repairing my tooth and we spoke minimally about the procedure and I thanked her for being upfront and honest with me and she seemed a little puzzled and I elaborated for her and she told me that in the records my previous dentist had documented that he was "Aware and tracking the decay in the tooth and had informed the patient of said information" to which I declared that the dentist was a liar for writing such an outrageous and false record of the incidents but made no more complaint to the staff as of yet, and came out of my visit to see that my mother had been seen to and waited in the car for her and after she came out they told her that she would have to come back tomorrow afternoon to fix 2 loose fillings.........I do not think that this clinic understands the meaning of the word "emergency" You have a person who eats on one side of their mouth because of pain you tell the person to come in early and be expected to wait for hours you see a DENTIST who looks at you and says "you have 2 loose fillings come back tomorrow and we'll get that fixed for you." Any reason why they can't do it now?? while the chair is leaned back? While the Dentist has his TOOLS inside the persons MOUTH!
