Dr. Martinez was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley where she received her Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Texas Pan American. Following her bachelor's degree she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon board of Trustees recognized Dr. Luz Martinez for outstanding achievements and performance related to the placement of dental implants in 2010. Dr. Martinez's gentle approach, care and attention to detail, combined with her technical skills and ability, has earned her well-deserved praise and appreciation from her patients.

Dr. Luz Martinez and her front desk are the absolute best! I love how patient Dr. Martinez is with my son and you can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. I cant recommend this place enough.

Update: The office has made a tremendous upgrade to their appointment times and slots. Now the appointments are more consistent. So far its been good. Dr Mrs is great. And staff is very nice. Dr luz and staff are wonderful!!make you feel like family and not like another number. She is great with kids and very nice!! However my exact rating would be a 3.9 bc of the appointments. Appointment times are not consistent. So if you go by the scheduled appointment, chances are the day prior to your meet they'll call you with a different time. Happens often.

Dr. Luz Martinez extracted my tooth with such gentleness and patience that it did not hurt at all! Her bedside manners are excellent! She is a top notch dentist and I recommend her highly! I'm very impressed with her staff. They are very courteous and knowledgeable. Thanks to all of you. Marta

Excellent doctor, updated equipment and up on the latest technique. More educated approach than my previous DDS who just wanted to extract my tooth. Also, better (deep) cleaning when you go for semi-annual or quarterly hygiene. thank you Dr.

First patient at this office, and the experience was more than just 5 stars. Really happy with how fast they called us in for me and my husband . Everything was done una timely manner. Both hygienist Yasmin and Lori explained everything perfectly, Lori made us understand every treatment and was very knowledgeable about everything. Then we got seen by the doctor and she was beyond nice and kind over all, also explained everything very good as well. Front desk, Paula helped us understand everything going on with the insurance and was very patient in answering every single question we had . Thank you everyone there, will be coming back with my kids and have them treated from now on at that office as well.

They have the an answome dentist but her front desk staff are the reason why they have a low rating and their patients leave I bet after this one they won't jump anybody else in front of your appointment you lost a family of four come join us fam we move to Rodeo Dental right off of Westgate and Frontage beside the Big gym

Dr. L. Martinez and her entire staff are great with kids. She takes the time to explain the procedure she is about to perform and is considerate to the needs of the parents and of course, the kids. I would absolutely recommend her. i am very impressed with her and her quality of work.
