As the grandson of a dentist and the son of physicians, Dr. Geer grew up planning to spend his life in service to others. His ambitions led him to UNC-Chapel Hill, where he spent 8 years completing both his Bachelors Degree and his Doctorate. Ranked in the top 5 dental schools in the nation, UNC provides a wonderful education. Dr. Geer has always been convinced that he is called to use the skills which the Lord has blessed him with to give to those underserved. This sense of call has led him to serve both locally and internationally in countries like China, Haiti, and Kenya. From Give Kids a Smile to The Community Care Clinic, his active involvement in local charitable organizations is indicative of his commitment to the unfortunate among us. As the father of 4 young children, Dr. Geer is actively involved in their home schooling. He is also a self-proclaimed addict of kiteboarding, an extreme sport that he enjoys (as frequently as possible) in the Outer Banks of NC. When the wind is not blowing, he can be found rooting on UNC in basketball.

Dr. Boyte grew up in Eden, NC and graduated magna cum laude from Wake Forest University with a degree in Biochemistry. She then moved south to attend the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham, AL. Following graduation from dental school, she promptly moved home to marry her high school sweetheart. Dr. Boyte is passionate about building relationships with her patients, while gently and comfortably caring for their dental needs. In her spare time, Dr. Boyte enjoys exercising, canoeing the rivers in Rockingham County with her husband, and attending Wake Forest football and basketball games with friends.

Dr. Jennifer Vrikkis earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree with honors from East Carolina University (ECU) School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Vrikkis decided to further her education and experience by completing a one year Advance Education of General Dentistry residency at ECU. Her dental practice philosophy is patient-centered focusing on education, prevention, and betterment of oral health as it relates to overall health. Dr. Vrikkis grew up in Blowing Rock, NC. In her spare time, she enjoys visiting with her family and friends, experimenting with recipes in the kitchen, staying active, and volunteering. Like all members at Reynolda Smiles, she is passionate about dentistry and dedicated to helping others.

Dr. Timothy Speer is originally from Woodstock, GA, but has called North Carolina home for the last few years. He was a member of the inaugural class at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. In pursuit of increasing both his clinical knowledge and skills, Dr. Speer attended postgraduate Advanced Education in General Dentistry at East Carolina University. In his free time, you can find him outdoors, fishing, traveling, or taking time to spend with his family and friends. Dr. Speer also helps his brother, a professional boat and racecar driver, by serving as a member of his crew.

Deanna has been managing successful dental practices since 1998. Since Dr. Geer first opened his practice, Deanna has been the face to greet each patient at the front desk. She does whatever it takes in order to serve patients, and can sometimes be found assisting the dentists or working a last-minute patient into the schedule. When Deanna is not attending to patients and ensuring an efficiently-run office, she and her family, which includes five daughters, enjoy camping and movies. Deanna also loves to cook.

Yessica started working at Reynolda Smiles in August 2013. She graduated from Mt. Tabor High School. She is happily married to her husband Jay and a proud mother of two boys. On her time off, she enjoys spending time with family, especially cheering on her boys at their soccer games.

Bethany has worked in customer care since graduating high school in 2010. She started working at Reynolda Smiles as a patient coordinator in 2020. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and their animals, reading, traveling, or spending time with friends and family.

Brianna was born in Alleghany NC and moved to Surry NC when she was 7 years old. She graduated from North Surry in 2019. When Brianna isnt working she likes spending time watching movies with her boyfriend and fur baby. She also likes to take road trips to no exact destinations.

Kristi has been working at Reynolda Smiles since 2011. She has been married for 23 years with 2 children, ages 22 and 18. Before starting at Reynolda Smiles, Kristi was a stay at home mom who loved spending time with family, friends and enjoying various activities at her church.

Knowing each patient by name is Lizs priority. As a kindhearted and caring person, she instinctively regards everyone she serves not only as a patient, but also as a friend. Liz looks forward to assisting you at your next office visit. Liz lives in Tobaccoville with her two dogs, Sandy and Blossom.

Mindy was born in Canton, Ohio and moved to Winston Salem in 2012. She graduated from Stark State College with an Associates Degree in 1999, and then Forsyth Tech in 2017. She started working at Reynolda Smiles in October 2021. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and dog Hailey, hiking, writing fiction novels, painting, and volunteering in the community.

Ruthie was born and raised in Winston-Salem NC. She graduated in 2020 from Woodland Baptist Christian School. Outside of work she loves spending time with her family, Dogs, and friends. She also enjoys observing nature, and photography.

Kelbi has been with Reynolda Smiles for a year as the Insurance Coordinator. She was born and raised in Davie County NC and graduated from Davie High School. Kelbi is happily married to her husband Dustin, and has a labradoodle named Nash Cole. When she is not at work she loves to exercise, travel with her husband, and spend time with her family.

Charley grew up in the Winston Salem area. She graduated from Mount Tabor High School in 2013 and shortly after joined the Reynolda Smiles team. Charley started her journey helping the front desk team. As the office grew she then moved to being our sterilization technician, and continued on to be the first in office trained dental assistant and got her certifications as needed. In her free time she loves spending time with her fur babies Charity and Dallas, DIYs, traveling, (fast) cars, tattoos and the color purple.

Cesar grew up in Mexico City, Mexico. At the age of seven, he moved to North Carolina with his mother to the small town of Yadkinville. Cesar attended Yadkinville Elementary and later Forbush High School where he graduated in the class of 2009. Cesar obtained an Associates in Science from Wilkes Community College and later a Diploma in Finance as well as a Diploma in Dental Assisting from Forsyth Technical Community College in 2016. In his spare time, Cesar enjoys spending time with his family and close friends, being outdoors and cooking.

Ashley joined Reynolda Smiles in September 2012 after moving from Charlotte with her husband and three children. She grew up in Louisiana and is a huge LSU and Saints Fan. In her spare time, Ashley and her family enjoy camping, hiking and watching sports their children play. Geaux Tigers!

Debbie grew up in Ohio and then had the privilege of attending and graduating high school in Nassau, Bahamas. She then attended college at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, where she met her husband. She began dental assisting in 1987 and later took certification courses at Wake Forest University. She has worked for several general dentists and also for specialists in orthodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. She has used the gifts that God has given her to serve others overseas, by working in four medical/dental missions trips to Mexico and Peru. She has also helped serve others locally working in several free dental clinics. She is very excited about joining the Reynolda Smiles team! When she isnt busy assisting, she is busy being a pastors wife and mother of 4 children. She also enjoys trail riding with her horse and hiking Hanging Rock with her dog.

Haley grew up in Surry County and graduated from East Surry High School. She went to school for Dental Assisting at Forsyth Tech and graduated in 2017. She interned here at Reynolda Smiles and was thrilled when she was offered a job! She enjoy adventures with friends and her boyfriend. She also likes to go on road trips!

Kamryn was born and raised in Pilot Mountain. She graduated from East Surry in 2018 and went to school for Dental Assisting at Wilkes Community College. Kamryn had always been interested in the dental field for as long as she could remember and interned at a dental office in high school and knew this is what she wanted to do! She likes traveling, spending time with her family, friends, and golden doodles Millie and Cota!

Khristy grew up in Winston-Salem and graduated from Ledford Senior High School. She went to Piedmont Dental Assistants and graduated in 2014. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and their son along with racing on the weekends. They also have two fur babies Zoey and Windsor.

Nina was born and raised in High Point NC, then moved to Winston in 2020. She graduated from Sunrise School of Dental Assisting in 2018. In addition to Assisting, she also is cross trained to help out at the front desk. Outside of work she enjoys to cook, create art, and spend time with her fur baby Lola.

Kayla was born and raised in Sandy Ridge, NC. She attended Guilford Technical Community College where she graduated in 2011 with an Associates Degree in Applied Science-Dental Hygiene and joined our practice in 2013. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with friends, crafts, reading, volunteering at local dental clinics and spoiling her niece, nephews and her fur baby, Milo.

Amanda has been in the Winston Salem area since 1995. She went to North Forsyth class of 2003, attended Forsyth Technical Community College for Dental Assisting class of 2006, and Dental Hygiene class of 2010. Amanda enjoys traveling and spending time with her fur babies.

Lets first ask a question, Star Wars, Star Trek, or Stargate? Originally from North Wilkesboro, Brandi has been a hygienist since 2008. For the last 8 years she has lived in Greenville SC. When shes not at work, Brandi enjoys reading, watching movies, and trying new restaurants. Brandi is definitely a true nerd, and her hair color changes with the seasons.

Cristi has been a practicing dental hygienist since 1999. She graduated from Fayetteville Tech Community College. Cristi and her husband, Kyle, have a blended family with four children. She enjoys reading, biking, football and working out.

Leslie was raised in Pinnacle, N.C. She attended the Dental Hygiene program at Forsyth Technical Community College where she graduated with an Associates Degree in Applied Science. She enjoys being with her family, taking care of her horse and dog, going to the Carolina Panthers Football games and staying active in her church.

Amber is from Winston-Salem, N.C. She graduated from Forsyth Tech in 2015. She enjoys practicing yoga and being outdoors. She has two furbabies, Lilly and Noah. When she has free time, she enjoys gardening and going to the beach!

Dennell was born in the mountains of North Carolina and later grew up outside of Winston-Salem. In 2006 she and her husband moved to the coast. There, she fulfilled her long time goal and graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Cape Fear Community College, in 2013. After having their daughter, they moved back to the area to be near family. Dennell loves what she does and is happy to be a member of the team at Reynolda Smiles!

Now a thriving community serving thousands and employing more than 30 committed team members, Reynolda Smiles was not always the bustling practice you now enjoy. Armed with a freshly minted dental license and hopes for building a meaningful life, (a very young) Andy Geer, and his small family moved from UNC-Chapel Hill to Winston-Salem in the summer of 2002. At that same time, Dr. James Ziglar was dissolving his small dental practice to enter retirement, yet did not want to leave his patients, his staff without jobs, or the practice without a provider he could trust. Among the original few staff members were Deanna Ivester and Cristi Nixon, who are still with us today (they would love to share with you the tales of our very meager beginnings). Scrambling to find a new location to house the small staff and few patients, Dr. Geer came across a small, crumbling building which would affectionately become known as the Dental Shack. For the next five days, the staff joined him and his wife in the scrubbing, decorating, painting, and outfitting required to open a respectable dental office. What was once a drive-through car wash was transformed into a dental office. In September 2002, Dr. Geer hung his shingle on the buildings front and the fledgling practice was born. As the years passed, more patients dared to brave the Dental Shack, and more team members came on board to help care for them. The personal nature of the care the patients received and the integrity of the staff members and their commitment to excellence, were all things that caused people to flock to the crumbling space. Eventually, it became clear that there were too many patients for one dentist to comfortably provide for, so in 2010 Dr. Geer began the search for another dentist. A former classmate and friend, Dr. Joel Switzer, uprooted his family from sunny California and joined him back in NC.Like most growing things, the practice needed an increasing amount of space, and the Dental Shack was becoming uncomfortably cramped. A small lot only minutes away was purchased, and Dr. Geer and his wife began designing a state-of-the-art office that better reflects the practices excellence. At this point the practice changed its name from simply the names of its practicing clinicians to a more inclusive Reynolda Smiles. By January 2013 the new office was complete. The move into the space was a blissful but busy transition. The office honed its practice philosophy and vision statement, and focused on community and team building in addition to patient care. We believe that a happy, healthy work community translates to a better experience for patients. This philosophy has created a thriving environment for those employed at Reynolda Smiles and for the patients as well. Additional education among the doctors has enabled us to provide an increasingly broad range of services, such as dental implants, bone grafts, and Invisalign braces. We continue to use the latest in technology and have invested in things such as a 3-D CT scanner.

As the practice continued its transition of filling whatever space there was to fill, Dr. Boyte, Dr. Vrikkis, and Dr. Speer all came on board the next few years, as did many hygienists, assistants, sterilization technicians and front desk members. Though Reynolda Smiles has grown exponentially, the simple, caring philosophy that began in the Dental Shack and has propelled the practice forward remains unchanged
