Dr. Reyes & Dentistryare a perfect match! From the beginning of his college days he was destined to become a dentist. Initially, a pre-med student interning at the San Diego County Hospital, Dr. Reyes entered into the Dental Department out of curiousity. From that day forward he has committed himself to Dentistry and his passion for theArts and Scienceshas never faded. After graduating from UC San Diego with a Bachelors Degree in Microbiology he attended UC Los Angeles to complete his Doctorate educationin Dental Surgery.
Dr. Reyes has always practiced in Azusa and recently celebrated his 34th year in practice and is now in a new facility in Downtown Azusa. 'It was always my intention to practice in San Diego because I fell in love with it whilefulfilling my undergraduate education, however, fate had a different plan for me'.
In 1986 Dr. Reyes acquired a30 year old practice from one of Azusa's premier dentists, Dr. John V. Moller and over the next three yearsDr. Reyesalso acquired adjacent practices from longtime dentists Drs. McChesney and Antle. As his practice grew Dr. Reyes focused on restorative and implant dentistry and also affiliated himself with Specialists providing Endodontic, Periodontic, Orthodontic and Implantology care.
For almost as long as Dr. Reyes has been practicing dentistry he has been married to Jeannine, his lovely wife of 31 years. Their son Angelo, is an Attorney at the city of San Diego Public Defender's office. The Reyes family make there home locally where Dr. Reyes enjoys everything and anything outdoors but finds most of his time is committed to traveling with his wife.

Julie will not be a new face to many of our patients! At our previous location on Tenth Street, Julie was our office manager of several years however her consulting business and a move to Texas ended our relationship in 2003. We are grateful to have her back now that she has returned to California and we know that many of our old patients will be happy to see her. Very experienced in all phases of Dentistry, Julie is knowledgeable and helpful with any patient issues at the front desk! Welcome back Julie!!

Ralph and his staff are always so friendly and welcoming. I have been getting my dental work with Ralph for the past 20 years and I've always felt like I am in good hands. He is easily the best dentist and has the best dentistry in the area.

I walked into a beautiful office with very kind and efficient front staff. Dr. Wong and her assistant are amazing. Dr. Wong is very soft with her hands and kept me out of pain. I was so comfortable I could of fallen asleep. I went in scared and came out happy and out of pain.

Really bad experience for teeth cleaning. The hygienist was not familiar the procedure. She did not change the gloves after touching the computer and stool. She did not know when should clean my mouth, I have to remind her when I was stuck by my spit and the spit was all over. She did not know how to floss, I have to do that by myself. During the cleaning, her hands always touched my eyes!! I'm so disappointed!!

Came back after a few years, have not found anyone like him. The way he works on my teeth is excellent, nothing ever hurts and he makes sure of that. Dr. Reyes and his entire staff have been so kind and patient with me, as I have changed my treatment plan several times, and kept asking questions about my treatment and the fees. They are very good at explaining things, and then REexplaining them until I understand every detail, bc it is a big commitment financially, time-wise, and very invasive to rebuild a mouth. But they really earned my appreciation when I cancelled several appointments ( at the last minute!) bc my beautiful service dog, Daisy, was diagnosed with tumors and was on hospice. Some days I'd wake up and she'd be having THAT kind of day, and I just couldn't leave her. But Dr. Reyes, et al, we're so kind & understanding, and never made me feel bad about cancelling. And after she died, they were all very empathetic to my broken heart. It's very easy to be a loyal patient here. Good people all around.
