Dr. Alexander Litvinov is dedicated to provide the most gentle and comprehensive care for all of his patients. Patients are always treated with compassion and understanding, and he is great at making everyone feel at ease. Dr. Litvinov has been in practice for 15 years in New York and New Jersey. After graduating High School in Moscow, Russia, he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from SUNY at Stony Brook. He graduated State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine in 1999. Dr. Litvinov has completed his Postgraduate Program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry as well as Postgraduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry from SUNY- Buffalo in 2000.
Dr. Litvinov has completed multiple Continuing Education Courses in Endodontics (Root Canal Therapy), Implantology, Esthetic Dentistry and Smile Design as well as dental materials. He strives to stay current with new developments in the field and to be able to bring up-to-date technology, techniques, and understanding to treatment of his patients. He is a long standing member of Academy of General Dentistry.

Prior to Covid, I had been seeing Dr. Litvinov and overall found him to be a great dentist and he had a most congenial office staff. In trying to start back up with him, now post Covid in 2022, his practice seems centered more on money than patients with a completely rude and unsympathetic office staff that has now sent me with cavities looking for another dentist. There are other dentists out there that are far more patient centric! RESPONSE TO YOUR RESPIONSE HIPPA compliance be dammed but since you brought it up ... 1. You staff person was told that a previous filling of yours had popped out and that another tooth had been chipped. Her response - well how do you know without rays and a cleaning. 2. I had no issue with a set of xrays being taken but given my limited availability for personal medical issue family matters, which was explained to your staff, I was hoping we could do the cleaning another time and address my immediate issues. Her response was a cleaning had to be done before any work or examination by you would occur. This meant having to do another appointment just to address my pressing issues. Was it a medical emergency - no, but a popped filling and chipped tooth needed to be addressed first. Simple request and if xrays were needed to allow you to do you work - no problem. 3. Yes I cancelled and found another dentist almost immediately that took xrays, gave a consultation and game plan and then took care of the two pressing issues. Next week will be the cleaning and then addressing other issues going forward so I can be back on track. 4. Sorry, but your office staff failed you here! And if there was confusion, perhaps you could have taken 2 minutes to pick up the phone.

I have been going to got Dr. Litvinov for many years. He is extremely patient, skilled, and kind. The procedure is always a gentle one. He makes sure that you are numb. He does high quality work. Thankfully with his advice to don't always have to get work done! But I'm not scared when I do have to.

Terrible service and extreme disorganization. Received a bill from 2017 on Christmas Eve 2019. Stay away from this unethical practice.

I've been seeing Dr. Lit for many years and while I would never say that going to the dentist was fun, he truly makes it a pleasant experience. I have no idea how he does it, but getting a needle/Novocain from him is painless! BEST DENTIST EVER!!! And the office staff are amazing!!!

Dr Litvinov is one of the best dentists I have ever been to. I have severe anxiety at the dentist and he was calming, thorough, and knowledgeable. He also works on my teenage children and they cannot say enough wonderful things about him and his hygienist.

If you have anxiety at the dentist, this isn't the place for you. I was a long term patient of dr. levine and was very happy with him. I love the hygienists here and hadn't had a cavity in a long time so hadn't had much interaction with Dr. Litvinov. Today was my first filling with Dr. Litvinov and I was very nervous. He has zero bedside manner and did nothing to ease my fears. In fact he seemed annoyed and treated me very poorly. My husband and I are both leaving the practice.

Have been using this office for over ten years.The staff is soo helpful and Dr Litvinov is very gentle and always seems to have a pleasant disposition to accompany his most talented dental skills.I would.most definitely.recommend this office to everybody.

I love this office! They were very accommodating to my 'needle anxiety', and anxiety overall! If you ever need work done where you need to get a needle, Dr. Litvinov is by far the BEST at giving a needle; you barely feel it!
