Dr. Jennifer Mai received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Texas in Austin. She then graduated from Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry and moved back to her native city of Houston to pursue her dental career. Dr. Mai is certified in Dental Sedation, Nitrous Oxide, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and is an active member of the American Academy Of Clear Aligners.

Dr. Mais interest in dentistry started when she was in high school and worked for her dentist, sterilizing dental equipment. She enjoyed watching the relationship between her dentist and his patients and loved the immediate satisfaction in taking a patient out of fear and pain.

In college, Dr. Mai had the opportunity to help in various underprivileged areas in Nicaragua and Costa Rica. It was there that her true passion for dentistry developed, and she knew that dentistry was her calling.

In Dr. Mais free time, she enjoys going to the park with her husband and son, hiking, yoga, and cycling. She also enjoys traveling to different parts of the world and experiencing different cultures and is a big foodie!

Dr. Matthew Lopp graduated University of Kentucky with a Bachelors degree in Biology. He went on to obtain his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree with Honors from the University of Louisville. After more than 15 years of practicing dentistry, Dr. Lopp continues to craft his skillset and actively searches for opportunities to learn new techniques with the most up to date technology. His passion is surgery and a focus on Implants. Dr. Lopp believes every patient is like family, and centers his treatment philosophy around listening, care, and compassion for all. When out of the office, Dr. Lopp enjoys fishing, golfing, building furniture, and family time with his wife Jacqueline and two daughters Anna and Jane.

Dr. Lisa Vu is a board certified general dentist native to Texas. Her passion for dentistry began while serving Houstons homeless population. After earning her M.P.H. at the University of Texas School of Public Health and D.M.D. at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, she can tackle problems using two different perspectives. She is able to promote oral health and deliver compassionate care for an individual and use research methods to identify needs and solutions for a community. As clinical faculty for University of Texas School of Dentistry, she provides mentorship to dental students rotating at TOMAGWA Healthcare Ministries. She is a member of the ADA, GHDS, and TDA and is certified in level one conscious sedation and laser dentistry. Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, traveling, and hiking.

Sarah Perez is our Patient Care Coordinator. She is a certified Registered Dental Assistant, however she loves interacting and has a passion for working with patients that naturally fell into her position as a Patient care coordinator at Restoration Smiles. Sarah is the first person you will see when you arrive to our office and has an infectious way of making you smile! In her spare time Sarah enjoys shopping and spending time with her family. Sarah is very dedicated and ambitious which makes her such a great asset to the Restoration Smiles team.

Dr. Dar is a native of Spring, Texas. He attended Klein High School and went to college at Southern Methodist University on a scholastic scholarship where he earned a B.S. in Biology. He then went on to earn his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. He graduated in the top 15% of his class on the Deans honor list. Dr. Dar received numerous awards in Dental School including the prestigious American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Award, Southwest Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons Award and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology Award. After completing his dental degree, Dr. Dar received his medical degree from Stony Brook School of Medicine in New York. He completed a year of General Surgery training and a six-year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at North Shore-LIJ in New York. During his residency, he obtained extensive training in Craniofacial Surgery, Orthognathic Surgery, Cleft Lip/Cleft Palate repair, Facial Trauma, Facial Reconstruction, Facial Cosmetic Surgery, Head and Neck Pathology, TMJ Surgery and Dental Implants. Dr. Dar is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support from the American College of Surgeons and the American Heart Association. Outside of work Dr. Dar enjoys running, reading and most importantly spending time with his family. Dr. Dar is excited about being back home in Texas.

The person that does your Teeth Cleaning is the best I have ever had. Very Gentle and thorough. The actual Dental Experience is Top Notch! No Pain!! Doctor Mai is very meticulous and gentile as are all of her support staff. The office uses State Of The Art equipment and you can even lay back and view your favorite program on Netflix projected on a screen on the ceiling as you are being treated.

First time going today had a good experience everyone was friendly took their time with my children even though my daughter was very scared they were very good about waiting until she was ready.
