Dr. Matthew Gray grew up in St. Joseph and Berrien Springs, Michigan. Currently, he resides in Royal Oak with his wife and three children. Dr. Gray received his doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Since finishing his training, he has been fortunate to gain additional experiences in a variety of practice settings developing expertise in Invisalign, Fastbraces and implant dentistry. These encounters helped shape his vision for Restoration Dentalwhich is to provide a matchless standard of excellence for the delivery of comfortable oral health care and cosmetic transformation.

I am now not afraid of dentists. Dr. Mathew Gray and the Restoration Dental Team are phenomenal. I would definitely recommend this dentistry to everyone I know. These folks are THEE best.

I've seen Dr. Gray at three separate offices, meaning over the years, I've followed him to each practice. He's that good and that worth it. He is the only dentist I've willingly been to more than once. Granted, almost every time I've had to see him, it's been an emergency. But I have always gotten a same day appointment with him and he's always taken care of me. He is very calming and gentle and makes getting dental work taken care of less scary. After breaking my tooth, I was able to get in touch with him for the first time in two years and he got me in on the same day. Then when I learned that I would need a root canal, I was nervous but I agreed to have it done that day because I trust him entirely. I don't know how but Dr. Gray managed to make my first root canal the most painless experience I've ever had. I actually fell asleep twice while he was working. There was no swelling when the numbing wore off and regular strength tylenol helped alleviate the light amount of soreness left afterwards. The atmosphere of his practice is clean, welcoming, relaxing, and calm. His staff are kind, attentive, and helpful. He even lets you pick what music is playing or what you'd like to watch while he works. He's kind, personable, and genuinely good at what he's doing. He simultaneously pays attention to the work he's doing and the patient's needs, checking in often about your pain level. If you feel pain, he stops immediately and readjusts. He's just a great dentist. I had a very good experience. Getting necessary dental work done should always be this painless. Definitely recommend.

Dr. Grey is very knowledgeable and caring. Shots are near painless with the technique he uses. He is willing to work with you cost-wise. I live 2 hours away and still seek Dr. Grey for his expert care

Kind, helpful, and competent. This practice uses new state of the art equipment and they approach each patient with the best of intentions and look at the overall big picture. I had a good experience and would recommend them.

Dr. Gray took over this practice from my previous dentist and I decided to stay on as a patient. It was definitely the right decision. Dr. Gray and his team made the transition seamless and easy. The whole staff is friendly, helpful and professional. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. I feel quite comfortable in Dr. Gray's care...almost like he's been my dentist for years. It;s also a plus for me that the practice is a full-service facility and I won't have to go off to different practices for various services... like implants or oral surgery. I've found my dentistry home and I couldn't be happier about my decision to stick with them! I give Dr. Gray and Restoration Dental the highest recommendation!

Very professional and friendly staff. Madison is an amazing hygienist who shows diligent care when cleaning sensitive teeth. Dr. Gray is top notch and takes the time to explain things like a dentist who truly cares. I'll be going back soon to have two crowns replaced.

So, I have a really good dentist here! He's friendly and all his help is friendly. Everybody! They're competent & quick and... did I say friendly? Matt is U/M trained; he "gets it!" There's an air purifier running in my room when I go in, and usually soft music too. Everybody's masked and everything's clean. The hygienist is very engaging. She convinced me to buy a waterpik--even though they didn't have one at the time! And the office goes out of their way to accept whatever kind of insurance you have! So if you need a dentist appointment where you can relax and focus on getting thinks fixed; where you'll leave smiling even knowing that it might hurt a little later on, check out Restoration Dental. You'll be as pleased as I am!
