Dr. Sandhya Pal is a third generation dentist who has been practicing for over 20 years. She earned her B.S. in Biology with a double minor in Spanish and Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a D.D.S. from Howard University School of Dentistry with honors in Oral Diagnosis and Radiology.
Dr. Pals skills span all aspects of General Dentistry and is also certified in Implant surgery, Sedation Dentistry, and Therapeutic Botox. She feels that the best part of dentistry is caring for her patients as if they were her family. She also feels that dentistry is an art, as well as a science, and brings a good eye and steady hand to build lasting smiles.
Dr. Pal is a member of the Northern Virginia Dental Society, Virginia Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.
Megan R. Borak grew up in Huntington, West Virginia, where she attended undergraduate studies at Marshall University, and attended dental school at West Virginia University School of Dentistry in Morgantown, WV.
She has recently relocated back to the east coast with her after practicing in Austin, TX for 4 years. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and takes continuing education throughout the year to keep current in the ever advancing profession of dentistry.
She believes that it is important to comprehensively and conservatively treat patients with care while having their values in mind and having fun! Dr. Borak loves to work with apprehensive patients and change their mindset to a positive experience; laughter is a key part to your dental exam and being afraid of the dentist is a thing of the past!
Dr. Borak loves to give back to the community through service opportunities, has participated in dental global missions trips across the world, and is an active member of the northern Virginia junior league.
When not in the office, Dr. Borak enjoys traveling, hiking, being outdoors, hanging out with her niece; Scarlett, cooking, catching up with friends and family, and cheering for her favorite sports teams.
Julianna came to the U.S. from Latvia in 2001 to pursue a higher education. She earned her Bachelors and Masters degree in Global Health from George Mason University. Julianna came to our practice over 10 years ago with experience from working with general dentists, endodontists and oral surgeons. Her experience of 20 years and vast dental knowledge makes her vital to the practice. Julianna takes great pride in her work and strives to provide a comforting experience for every patient. You might even get a manicure by her while you are here :)!
Tulika started as a Dental Assistant with Pal Family Dentistry in 2017. She returned to school thereafter and earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from NVCC Medical Education Campus graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2020. She endeavors to make her patients feel comfortable and always at ease when it comes to their dental care. Her priority is to maintain the highest level of quality and attention to detail and takes immense pride in her patients smiles. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, painting and gardening.
Masi received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene from NVCC Medical Education Campus in 2009 and been practicing ever since. Masi is an extremely talented patient educator hygienist and very passionate about helping people understand the importance of their oral health. Masi is an Orofacial Myology certified treating patients with variety of oral and facial muscle postural and functional disorders and habit patterns that may disrupt normal dental development.
Christina has a been licensed hygienist since 2007. Christina was born and raised in West Michigan, but she has lived in the DMV area for the past 12 years. It is a priority for Christina that each and every patient experience is better than their last one she loves being able to make anxious patients feel at ease and comfortable for every visit! Christina is honored to be a part of a dental team that is dedicated to its patients and makes everyone feel like family. She is married and has two beautiful daughters. Her hobbies include playing golf, tea parties with her daughters, camping, hiking and finding new restaurants to try.
Natalie received her Dental Hygiene degree from Concorde College in her hometown of San Diego, California in 2013. She is passionate about educating her patients and enjoys getting to know new people everyday. Her main goal is for her patients to feel comfortable and receive thorough, personalized care. One of her favorite things about being a dental hygienist is to be a part of a childs first dental hygiene visit and show them how fun a dental office can be. Natalie and her husband recently moved to Virginia. She enjoys spending her time with family and friends, exploring her new home town, and trying new recipes.
