Dr. Sandhya Pal is a third generation dentist who has been practicing for over 20 years. She earned her B.S. in Biology with a double minor in Spanish and Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a D.D.S. from Howard University School of Dentistry with honors in Oral Diagnosis and Radiology.
Dr. Pals skills span all aspects of General Dentistry and is also certified in Implant surgery, Sedation Dentistry, and Therapeutic Botox. She feels that the best part of dentistry is caring for her patients as if they were her family. She also feels that dentistry is an art, as well as a science, and brings a good eye and steady hand to build lasting smiles.
Dr. Pal is a member of the Northern Virginia Dental Society, Virginia Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.
Megan R. Borak grew up in Huntington, West Virginia, where she attended undergraduate studies at Marshall University, and attended dental school at West Virginia University School of Dentistry in Morgantown, WV.
She has recently relocated back to the east coast with her after practicing in Austin, TX for 4 years. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and takes continuing education throughout the year to keep current in the ever advancing profession of dentistry.
She believes that it is important to comprehensively and conservatively treat patients with care while having their values in mind and having fun! Dr. Borak loves to work with apprehensive patients and change their mindset to a positive experience; laughter is a key part to your dental exam and being afraid of the dentist is a thing of the past!
Dr. Borak loves to give back to the community through service opportunities, has participated in dental global missions trips across the world, and is an active member of the northern Virginia junior league.
When not in the office, Dr. Borak enjoys traveling, hiking, being outdoors, hanging out with her niece; Scarlett, cooking, catching up with friends and family, and cheering for her favorite sports teams.
Julianna came to the U.S. from Latvia in 2001 to pursue a higher education. She earned her Bachelors and Masters degree in Global Health from George Mason University. Julianna came to our practice over 10 years ago with experience from working with general dentists, endodontists and oral surgeons. Her experience of 20 years and vast dental knowledge makes her vital to the practice. Julianna takes great pride in her work and strives to provide a comforting experience for every patient. You might even get a manicure by her while you are here :)!
Tulika started as a Dental Assistant with Pal Family Dentistry in 2017. She returned to school thereafter and earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from NVCC Medical Education Campus graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2020. She endeavors to make her patients feel comfortable and always at ease when it comes to their dental care. Her priority is to maintain the highest level of quality and attention to detail and takes immense pride in her patients smiles. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, painting and gardening.
Masi received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene from NVCC Medical Education Campus in 2009 and been practicing ever since. Masi is an extremely talented patient educator hygienist and very passionate about helping people understand the importance of their oral health. Masi is an Orofacial Myology certified treating patients with variety of oral and facial muscle postural and functional disorders and habit patterns that may disrupt normal dental development.
Christina has a been licensed hygienist since 2007. Christina was born and raised in West Michigan, but she has lived in the DMV area for the past 12 years. It is a priority for Christina that each and every patient experience is better than their last one she loves being able to make anxious patients feel at ease and comfortable for every visit! Christina is honored to be a part of a dental team that is dedicated to its patients and makes everyone feel like family. She is married and has two beautiful daughters. Her hobbies include playing golf, tea parties with her daughters, camping, hiking and finding new restaurants to try.
Natalie received her Dental Hygiene degree from Concorde College in her hometown of San Diego, California in 2013. She is passionate about educating her patients and enjoys getting to know new people everyday. Her main goal is for her patients to feel comfortable and receive thorough, personalized care. One of her favorite things about being a dental hygienist is to be a part of a childs first dental hygiene visit and show them how fun a dental office can be. Natalie and her husband recently moved to Virginia. She enjoys spending her time with family and friends, exploring her new home town, and trying new recipes.

Very professional. Today was my first visit at Reston Station Dental. Cera, my dental hygienist was very caring and thorough. First she requested my most recent dental X-rays and then proceeded to ask questions about my dental history. Before she began, she explained all she would do, making me feel relaxed and comfortable. She checked my gums, and documented her findings; then she cleaned my teeth. She shared her observations and gave recommendations to better care for my teeth and gums. I am happy I chose Reston Station Dental for my dental care and grateful that Cera is my new dental hygienist.

So frustrated with this place's awful billing practices. The amounts they tell you in the chair differ vastly from the final bill. I didn't know that my wife signed up to a payment plan for an expensive procedure and then they made me pay the full amount after my visit even though I insisted that my wife had it covered. You get surprise bills even though you paid your balance during the visit. The hygienist and dentists are nice enough, but I've never had this many billing issues at a dentist.

Haven't been to the dentist in years so was very nervous on how it would go. The inside of the facility is very clean and inside the dentist room it was organized and well put. The staff inside were very kind and I found myself quickly calming down and feeling very relaxed. Highly recommend, had a great experience here!

I still think of this place as one of the best dental team I have ever been seen! The hygienists and dentists are friendly and gentle, and they keep great charts to track what might need to be watched. I would strongly recommend this practice for your dental needs.

as someone with terrible anxiety (and gag reflex )going to the dentist is a last resort kind of thing . luckily at this dentist they made all my fears go away. They are very friendly and understanding to everyone's specific needs. i highly recommend to anyone , with out without anxiety.

Dr Pal was ok. But they have another doctor ( Dr Borak ) that they recommended us when Dr Pal is too busy. Our experience was just awful. First of all, Dr Borak didn't make herself clear for what service she provide with the patient. Second, They filed 6 claims with our insurance company for one visit. Once we found out all the duplicate claims on August 1st we called them immediately. The lady answered my call was very rude and not understanding at all! She screamed at me that she made all these claims because they are not getting paid. Hello? Am I the right person to blame? We didn't receive any notice or invoice! She made me feel that I can't have questions about the service and she's doing me a big favor answering my questions. Customer service seems value nothing to her. Even though I paid my bill over the phone, I still get an invoice 3 days later says my account balance is not cleared, I still owe them money...They sent out the invoice at the same day I paid them over the phone. What a mess!!

Every member of the staff has been attentive to our needs and we trust the team.. Each vist for cleanings or more deatailed work such as a recent cap replacement has been nothing short of exceptional. Also for those of us whom have a huge fear of the dentist, the staff has taken great care to make sure I am comfortable.

Dentists have always made me nervous. But everyone at Pal dentistry and Reston Station Dental are amazing. Last year I moved 30 minutes away from Reston but won't go anywhere else if I can help it.

Absolutely plan on returning for my follow up care and continued preventative care with this clinic. The facility outside is definitely under construction of sorts but inside is wonderful, very clean, and overflowing with eclectic art and joyful decor. My hygienist was informative and polite. I was aware of everything that was happening and if I had questions she would answer them in a way I could easily understand. She made sure check I was comfortable with all things. AND YOU GET SUNGLASSES. I haven't been to a dentist in too long so maybe this is the standard now but that bright light they shine in your face? NOT A PROBLEM. 30 mins of awkwardly trying not to make eye contact with someone in your mouth? DOESNT HAPPEN. You get dark shades. Light sensitivity and social ineptness is not a concern here. Super thrilled about this minor detail. Dr Borak is a lovely dentist! Her attitude is wonderful. And I appreciate the trust she immediately instills in me. I wanted a dentist I could trust is telling me what I'm paying for is what I need and not feel like each thing is a money grab for sales, and I really felt like this practice was looking out for my oral health present and future, not increasing sales. I trust when she says I need something it's because I need it. Side note: I was getting my teeth cleaned and overheard a small kid get sad and whoever was working with that kid stopped, let him use the tools (it sounded like) and really demonstrated and gave him control of the situation and based on the diminished tears, really did a 180 for this kid. And THATS A COOL DETAIL. I dont have kids but if I did I'd trust bringing them to Dr Borak, I would be doing my best to ensure my kids don't grow up fearing dental visits.
