Dr. Christine Kim decided to join the healthcare field at a young age. As the daughter of a dentist who served the needs of his patients for over 40 years, Dr. Kim was able to witness first-hand the personal relationships and professional satisfaction her father experienced. Now, as an orthodontist serving the families of Northern Virginia, she works hard to create similar relationships and foster the level of care her patients deserve.
With a focus on personalized care and individualized treatment, Dr. Kim is able to facilitate positive transformations in her patients smiles and overall health. For her, seeing the transformation of a patient who never smiled before treatment, to smiling after treatment, is an incredible joy.
Dr. Kim is a member of several orthodontic-related associations and study clubs, and attends nation-wide seminars and courses year round. These seminars and educational courses help her stay up-to- date on current and cutting-edge technologies and solutions to provide the best orthodontic care. Continuing education is a vital aspect of Dr. Kims commitment to serving her patients needs and making her the best orthodontist she can be.
Originally from Alexandria, Virginia, Dr. Kim moved to the Tysons Corner area after her orthodontic residency to be closer to her family. She has two wonderful parents and an older sister. Bella and Mochi, her Malti-poos, areher little furry bundles of happiness who you might even see in the office once in a while.
Dr. Kim grew up playing tennis competitively on the national level, and played on a full scholarship at UVA. On the weekends, she teaches tennis, and hopes to cultivate the same strong work ethic she learned from her coach to young players now.

As a parent you are always searching for the best for your children--both in the expertise of the doctor and in the demeanor of the office team/environment. Reston Orthodontics is the perfect combination of both. Dr. Kim is extraordinary in her vision, attention to detail, and the explanation of what is happening to the patient. Her partner Julie is incredible in walking you through the investment you are making in your smile and how the process will go. Walking in you feel like you are coming over to a friend's and both of my kids enjoy the visits--NEVER dreading them. Thank you Reston Orthodontics for taking such good care of us!

Just got my braces off after many long months. Everyone at Reston Orthodontics made each visit as comfortable and efficient as possible. The receptionists made scheduling appointments seamless and there were always reminders for each appointment. Reston Orthodontics never made any mistakes and I am very happy with the result! 10/10

Was an amazing experience working with Dr. Kim to align my teeth. Not only did she communicate with dentist to coordinate my crowns and veneers into the treatment but she was always flexible to me and answered my emails. Overall an great job and highly recommend thank you Dr. Kim and team!

My mom went to Dr. Kim for Invisalign and her teeth turned out amazing! I decided to do Invisalign and just got them off after about 6 months and can't believe how perfect my teeth are. Dr. Kim and Julie were so great to work with and they are always on top of everything. Appointments were always quick and their scheduling was very flexible. I highly recommend Dr. Kim to anyone who is considering Invisalign. You will be so happy with the results!

If you want an excellent orthodontics experience, this is the place! I love it here the staff are top notch. Dr Kim is the best she explains the procedure and makes it comfortable about what she is doing. Her assistant is so sweet and helpful great people and positive atmosphere which is hard to come by these days! I highly recommend!

Julie and her sister, Dr. Kim, are an amazing duo. Both have exceptional communication skills with their patients' parents and obviously great with children. My 6 year old had a very good consult at Reston Orthodontics.

Dt. Kim is amazing and so is her staff! Everytime I come Into the office I am met with such love and support and you don't get that type of customer service in the year 2022. If you or your child needs braces or invasalign please stop looking because thr best is located at Reston Orthodontics with Dr. Kim!

Came here in 2019-2020 to get retainers replaced. Progressively got the treatment needed. Towards the end, I made a call that I had lost my retainers and need a replacement as soon as possible. Can't recall but the person who answered said they could not schedule an appointment that soon cause it was not an urgent matter. I was very disappointed given that they had provided good treatment but could not help me come in fast to get a replacement. Chose to discontinue with them and went to another location and got Invisalign.

What an incredible doctor and team at Reston Orthodontics. I've had the pleasure of going through treatment for quite some time and the staff and Dr. Kim have been nothing short of spectacular. The pricing was at market rate, the treatment was on point and the results were beyond and above my expectations. If you're considering braces whether they are traditional or Invisalign, definitely give Reston Orthodontics are serious consideration!!!

I have the Invisalign braces and I am shocked at how easy and quick it has been. I LOVE how my teeth are turning out! I also love Dr.Kim and all the staff. When I go in all the staff says hello to me. I have never had that at a dentist before. Sometimes when I have gone in Dr.Kim is waiting for me at the chair. I love Reston Orthodontics and recommend it to everyone! If you are on the fence about getting braces as an adult I would say it is worth it!

My old fixed retainer broke and Dr. Kim fit me into her schedule within the week and fit me for a new retainer. The process was painless, and the price was reasonable. Will definitely return!
