Dr. Steven Johnson obtained his degree from the Medical College of Virginia (MCV) in 1985 and completed his general dental practice residency at West Virginia University in 1988. He is also a proud graduate of the Neuromuscular Program at the World-Renowned Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. He is additionally certified to perform specific dental procedures including Lumineers, Invisalign, and Endodontic Dentistry.

Dr. Fatemeh Baftechi (Shadi) received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from George Mason University. She continued schooling and received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Shadi specializes in cosmetic dentistry and is passionate about helping people smile with confidence!

Went in for regular cleaning and Invisalign checkup on 10/28/2022. Dr. Shadi, Michelle, Jimmy, and Elizabeth are ready to get along with, professional, and do a good job! Honestly one of my most enjoyable dentist visits.

Elizabeth at front desk is very friendly and Knowledgeable. She explains and makes appointments for your convenience the best that I have ever seen. Dr. Assistant Marcelo is very friendly, experienced and helpful. Dr. Dee explains truly your condition and she is also very pleasant, patient and works with you to resolve your issues. I highly recommend this place.

First time at Reston family smiles, was happy Elizabeth at the front desk was able to help me get an appointment in last minute! Dr. Do, Cierra, and April were gentle, fast, and efficient! I was worried I would get back to work late but they were great with accommodating with my schedule yet being completely thorough with my treatment! Highly recommend!

Prior to coming here, we had a bad experience. At first I was hesitant, but I'm glad that i followed my husband to Reston Family Smiles. Elizabeth is so welcoming, professional and kind. We hit it off from the start. I love our talks. She goes out of her way to assist you! Cierra is wonderful! She is gentle and takes pride in her work. She explains everything to you and what you can do to take better care of your teeth. You all are the only practice that got me to flossThank you for everything!

Very professional and skilled, staff. Highly recommended . The dental Hygienist Elizabeth was very knowledgeable, informative, and lets you know every step of the way what's going on so there are no surprises. She was very friendly. Front desk staff was very friendly as well . Elizabeth at front desk made sure I had everything taken care of before that left . Thank you for the service today !!

I LOVE this practice. Elizabeth at reception is always welcoming and so accommodating with appointment times and billing questions. Cierra provided an excellent and thorough cleaning, as do all the hygienists there. Dr Shadi is so nice and aways takes time to make sure you are feeling good and happy with your dental plan. Highly recommend!!!
