Family dentists offer the ultimate in convenience for busy families who have more items on their to-do lists then time to do them. Dr. Ressler, Dr. Hirschl and Dr. Lelchuk, your North Miami, FL family dentist, explains how you can benefit from visiting a family dentist.

Family dentists provide care for every member of your family, from your toddler daughter to your grandmother. Visiting the family dentist at an early age offers several important benefits for young children, including:

  • Comfort:When visits begin early, visiting the dentist is just another part of the routine, not a scary experience. Since family dentists are accustomed to providing care to young children, they know a few little tricks that will help your child enjoy visits.
  • Identification of Dental Health Issues:Issues that can affect the development of your child's teeth and jaw can be detected during regular examinations. If a problem is spotted, your dentist will make treatment recommendations.
  • Visiting your family dentist is just as important for adults as it is for children. Over the years, wear and tear can erode your tooth enamel, which can increase your risk of tooth decay. You're also more likely to develop painful gum disease as you grow older. Your dentist looks for signs of decay, gum disease and other dental problems during your regular visits and offers treatment that will help protect your oral health.
