Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Cahill opened and operated a highly successful family practice in Mesa, Arizona, and has participated in hundreds of hours of post-graduate continuing education, with special emphasis on cosmetic and implant dentistry. Additionally, he has extensive training in all aspects of General Dentistry including routine restorative care, crowns and bridges, root canals, veneers, implant restorations, and Invisalign.
Dr. Lopez is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and is continually participating in advanced training and continuing education. He concentrates his practice in oral rehabilitation with strong cosmetic and endodontic components.
Dr. Lopez is a faculty member at the University of Puerto Rico, the University of Massachusetts, and Harvard University. He is also a member of several professional dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Hispanic Dental Association.
Dr. Lopez is married to his beautiful wife and is the proud father of three young adults and one grandchild. When he isnt at the office, he enjoys coaching youth sports and mentoring young clinicians to help them in their career path.

Throughout his career, Dr. Walker has continued his education with an emphasis in comprehensive restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and TMD/chronic facial pain therapy. In the last twelve years, he has completed well over 1300 hours of continuing education to be able to bring the best and most current care to the families he cares for. Dr. Walker is a provider of Invisalign and has extensive training and experience in Comprehensive Restorative Dentistry, Dental Sleep Medicine, and Therapeutic Chronic Pain/TMJ Management.
Dr. Walker has practiced dentistry in New York, Colorado, and Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he established his former practice. After nearly 15 years in the desert, Dr. Walker decided to move back to the east coast, choosing North Carolina for his new home.
When he isnt at the office, Dr. Walker and his wife Karen, a teacher, enjoy spending time with their family. The couple is very proud of their daughter, who is in high school, and their son, who is in the U.S. Army. During his free time, Dr. Walker enjoys running/fitness, traveling, and landscaping.

They were able to get me in last minute for an emergency visit. I don't have insurance so I was expecting it to cost an arm and a leg but they only charged me $113. I was lucky they didn't need to do any x-rays, just sent me off with a prescription and scheduled a cleaning next week. Everyone was very nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

Last Thursday, I was in excruciating pain and needed an emergency extraction. I found Research Triangle Dental on Google, and to say they were a godsend is a gross understatement. The staff got me an appointment IMMEDIATELY (I'm talking 3 hours after my call), and were all so kind and sympathetic... you can tell they really care. The details about the procedure and payment were all laid out clearly beforehand, and during the extraction itself, GREAT care was taken to ensure that I was completely comfortable and pain-free. They even let me keep the evil tooth, LOL! I'd rate them a 100/100, if I could!

I called Research Triangle Dental with a broken tooth problem the evening before they closed and asked if they could see me the first thing the next morning. I was told they would only have one doctor in the next morning and they didn't have anything. After explaining to the young lady on the phone how serious this was she found something for me to be able to see the doctor the next morning. I would definitely recommend Research Triangle Dental to anyone.

Dr. Cahill is the best. I highly recommend him. I have been coming here a long time and wouldn't change dentists/ practice for nothing. Even after moving from Durham years ago, I still drive 31 miles HERE for service. I highly recommend RT Dental for all your dental needs. Jodi is the best hygienist. She saw me today 9-28-2022. Fantastic dental care! This is the only practice I've ever visited where the shots are 100% painless and they can fill a tooth in 10 minutes flat. Dr Cahill is incredible and makes his crowns on the spot so no second visit is needed. Dr Lopez is also wonderful. I no longer fear going to the dentist. Simply amazing!!
