Dr. Espino has practiced Dentistry in San Antonio since 2006 and is consistently striving to provide true multidisciplinary services to his patients. He is invariably rewarded and challenged with his continued dental education and works to persist in that aspect of his dental career frequently. Dr. Espino has been a member of the Seattle Study Clubs, Texas Academy of General Dentistry, and was President Elect of the San Antonio Hispanic Dental Association. He is a current member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologist. Dr. Espino served as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force for 13 years before being honorably discharged as Captain. He graduated from Midwestern State University with a bachelors degree in Chemistry. Later, he attended dental school in San Antonio, Texas and graduated in 2006.
Most of his free time is taken up by his two mixed breed Chi-winie rescues, Dumbo and Bella. With the rest of his free time, Dr. Espino really enjoys reading, not so much working out, and loves dancing. He can also be found riding his Cali Classic Lance Scooter around Museum district, up and down Broadway Street, and into downtown San Antonio.
Dr. Ashley Smith graduated with a degree in Biology from the University of New Mexico, where everyone is a Lobo. After realizing that dentistry was his calling, he attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and Roseman University College of Dental Medicine for Orthodontics.
Dr. Smith loves helping people, especially working with teens and adults. Making others smile has always been a talent of his. The power of something so small has such a large impact on your self-confidence, so taking the time to really understand each patient is very important to Dr. Smith. Putting customer service first has been, and always will be, his top priority.
When not in the office, he enjoys spending time outside and doing cross fit. His ideal Sunday may be similar to yours; this includes football, a BBQ, and savoring every minute with his family (his wife Krystal, their 4 boys, and one fun-loving little dog).

Dr. Barajas favorite thing about dentistry is transforming her patients smiles and increasing their confidence. In her free time, Dr. Barajas enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her 7-year-old rescue dog named Honey.
