Dr. Linda Chan was born and raised in Waterloo, Ontario and relocated to the Chicago area in 2013. Dr. Chan received her doctorate degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2010. She then completed her specialty training at the University of North Carolina where she received her master of science degree and Certificate in Endodontics. Prior to this, she completed her undergraduate studies at McGill University in the field of anatomy and cell biology, graduating with first class honors. Dr. Chan has been very active in the field of medical and dental research. At McGill, she examined regulatory pathways of bone biology and tumor angiogenesis. At Harvard, she researched mechanisms of breast cancer metastasis.
During her specialty training in North Carolina, Dr. Chan completed research investigating the role of microRNAs in endodontic disease. She has presented her research at multiple national and international meetings. Recently, she received the American Association of Endodontists Resident Award (2013), the Jacob Freedland Scholarship Award (2012), and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Student Award (2010). Dr. Chans professional affiliations include active membership in the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and the Edgar D. Coolidge Endodontic Study Club. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys skiing, dancing, traveling, and spending time with her husband and family.

Dr. Sundeep Dhawan was amazing! I had a root canal done today and it went great. The staff was also awesome. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I highly recommend Renovo Endodontic Studio 5 Stars!!!!!

WOW!! AMAZING Dentist!! Where is the 6th star!!? Doctor Wang is the BEST!! Like us all, I dread going to dentist, and she changed EVERYTHING!! She not only explained everything about my root canal b4, but there was NO PAIN besides the needle pinches to numb the area! The worse part was when she tested another tooth b4 for sensitivity!! AND we talked about zombie movies!! Who doesn't like zombie movies? Bottom line, I told her if she ever moved, I would fly around the country to have her be my dentist!! MUCH THANX!!

When I arrived for my appointment (which I scheduled 4 weeks in advance) to get my root canal redone, I was told they did not have me on the schedule. I waited over an hour to be squeezed in. After getting it done, the first day was ok, but I started to have a great deal of pain the second night. I called regarding this issue in the afternoon, and the receptionist I spoke to said she would mark this "as an emergency and that someone will get back to me ASAP". I waited until 9pm and nobody called.... I then called the office's phone number again and chose the "speak to an endodontist if it's an emergency" option: it connected me to a random dr's voicemail where I left a message pleading for help. I haven't heard anything back yet. It's 8am and I was up all night with throbbing pain and what feels like an infection brewing. I couldn't even sleep. Nobody has reached out to help me, and as a patient and I feel disregarded. I paid close to $500 out of pocket for this procedure, and feel that this company is unsafe due to their lack of communication and availability in an emergency situation. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone for this reason. **Edit: After two more phone calls to the answering service, the dentist who saw me and performed my root canal did call me directly to assist with my issue, she was helpful and understanding. The difficulty of being able to reach somebody to assist in an emergency, and the errors on the office end are what made my experience so awful.

Better have a lot of money if your are going to Renovo. Went there for a 2nd opinion on possible root canal. Charged me an arm and a leg for a 3D x-ray because regular dental insurance doesn't cover those. Made me get up off examining table with my dental bib on and go out into lobby to pay $150.00 for 3D x-rays before he would even perform the x-ray like I was a criminal. Looked at x-rays and said he couldn't help me. DID NOT LOOK IN MY MOUTH AT ALL. Got another bill for $49.00 which I disputed and sent me to collections. Went to excellent doctor in Orland - had 4 3D x-rays in the last 6 months due to needing an implant and Never once charged me for the 3D x-rays. Renovo is apparently desperate for money. BE READY TO OPEN UP THAT WALLET!

I was referred to Dr. Sundeep Dhawan for a couple of root canals needed. He was very informative and took care of one that day, totally painless and absolutely no issues! After discussing the other one I decided to have it extracted. He was very informative and even recommended a local dentist for the follow up treatments. The office was clean, and they followed covid guidelines. I appreciated the welcoming and attentive staff.

This location was absolutely perfect. The receptionist and endodontist were so warm and friendly. They took care of my daughter extremely well. If you have a fear of the dentist (like I do); please do yourself a favor and go there. Dr. Sonny is highly recommended.

Everyone was super friendly and I was able to get an appointment right away! The office is super clean and new looking. Dr Dhawan and staff are amazing. I was nervous since I had never needed work done on my teeth before this and they made me feel very very comfortable. I am very very happy with my experience here.

Excellent job, I was worried that root canal would be very painful , but thanks to dentist Sunny and assistance there was none, I was so relieved after the surgery with no pain, staff was very supportive, I will reccomend this clinic to everyone that need help getting their teeth treatment done here. Great job.

I was horrified when my dentist told me I needed a root canal and when I heard horror stories from others. From the time I walked in, until completion, my experience was excellent. Dr. Wong's chairside manner is excellent. She sat next to me, explained the process and assured me I would not feel any pain before or after. She was absolutely correct. I am amazingly pleased with the service I received and have and will continue to recommend.

I was in the excruciating pain and my general dentist recommended going to Renovo for an emergency root canal. I called the evening before they closed and was able to get in first thing in the morning. I ended up needing 2 root canals done, and was able to get them both done on the same day in a timely manner. Dr. Sunny was beyond amazing! He was knowledgeable, had excellent bedside manner, and always checked on my comfort level. His assistant was just as wonderful. My experience at Renovo from the front desk to the procedure was excellent! There were also no surprises with what to expect at the end of service. Everything was nicely laid out on paper before we even started. I also had swelling the next day that I wasn't sure if it was normal, so I contacted the office and was promptly prescribed a stronger antibiotic and a phone call back from Dr. Sunny to personally check up on me. Highly recommend!

Very profession and clean environment. The dentist and staff are very efficient and quick with services, especially Dr. Wang. They listen, make you feel comfortable and thoroughly explain the process. I would recommend Dr. Wang to ANYONE!
