Dr. Linda Chan was born and raised in Waterloo, Ontario and relocated to the Chicago area in 2013. Dr. Chan received her doctorate degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2010. She then completed her specialty training at the University of North Carolina where she received her master of science degree and Certificate in Endodontics. Prior to this, she completed her undergraduate studies at McGill University in the field of anatomy and cell biology, graduating with first class honors. Dr. Chan has been very active in the field of medical and dental research. At McGill, she examined regulatory pathways of bone biology and tumor angiogenesis. At Harvard, she researched mechanisms of breast cancer metastasis.
During her specialty training in North Carolina, Dr. Chan completed research investigating the role of microRNAs in endodontic disease. She has presented her research at multiple national and international meetings. Recently, she received the American Association of Endodontists Resident Award (2013), the Jacob Freedland Scholarship Award (2012), and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Student Award (2010). Dr. Chans professional affiliations include active membership in the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and the Edgar D. Coolidge Endodontic Study Club. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys skiing, dancing, traveling, and spending time with her husband and family.

Dr Wang did 2 root canals on me today. Zero pain during procedure. It's been 7 hours and Novocain wearing off. Slight tenderness but really no pain. I am beyond thrilled with the procedure. I'm a big baby when it comes to dentists but this was very easy and Dr Wang is very comforting. Definitely recommend Dr Wang.

Dr. Wang was amazing. She explained every step of the care plan and made sure I was comfortable through the entire procedure. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing Dental care!

Nice facility, the girls at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Dr. Wang did an excellent job of pulling up my XRay and explaining the procedure. The procedure was quick and painless and she then showed a before and after and all the while kept me calm and not nervous. I would go back to Renovo and Dr.Wang for any dental procedure in the future.

Wonderful staff and great doctor (Wang). I was a tough case with 2 root canals and an unexpected third. Surgery was painless, but the recovery was excruciating. Thankfully, Dr. Wang was immediately available via text and saw me a second time to double check my mouth. Although my jaw still hurts, it's manageable. I know she and her office staff are there for me if I need more help.

Not happy at all, went here for a root canal. Came in pain left in pain. Came back for another procedure to help. It didn't. Dr Trinh didn't even take the time to use numbing gel to help with the novocaine. I felt like a piece of meat. I had told them I was very afraid to get a root canal. They assured me he would be good. I had another appointment to fix it yet again but I cancelled. I was too afraid to go back. When I cancelled they didn't even seem to care. Started this whole mess in March. Its is June and I am still in pain. Would never recommend.

Who doesn't dread a root canal? Dr Jenna Gaw changed all that. With her experience,professionalism and her incredible personality, the procedure was literally quick and painless. Not enough stars to truly rate her work. Amazing.

Being a first time root canal patient, I was extremely anxious about this appointment. I was told by a number of people that the procedure is terrible followed up by "good luck." The night before, I read reviews about this place which helped put my mind a little at ease. From the time I sat down in the chair for X-rays to the time I left, I would hands down recommend going here. I saw Dr Gaw and she was very thorough. She walked my through the procedure and always checked in to make sure I was doing okay. She has a very caring, upbeat attitude and great "bedside manner" compared to most doctors. After all was said and done, she handed me her card which had her personal cell number on it. She told me to call or text her with any issues. The next day, I received a text from her following up to see how I was doing. Not many places would go the extra mile to check in like that. Hands down, one of the best places I've ever been and I would highly recommend to anyone

I don't think I could have been more nervous for a root canal - but it was the best dental experience I've ever had. Dr. Wang was super nice and reassuring. I've heard that molars can take 90min to 2 hours, but she did it in less than 30 min. I didn't even feel the shots. There was literally no discomfort at all. I recommend bringing some earbuds and listening to some music if the noise bothers you. But she kept me updated during the procedure and made me feel at such ease. If you're nervous about going, don't be. Everyone is wonderful from the moment you walk in the door. I highly recommend this place and Dr. Wang.

The dental work was excellent and the Doctor was great. I am happy that my dentist referred me to them. I was surprised of the cost to get the root canal. With X-ray's and the actually procedure, it came to a lot of money. I just wasn't prepared for it, but I am sure it could have been worst.

Only great things to say. Always a little anxious with dental work and this being my first root canal, admittedly was a bit more anxious. From the minute I arrived it was a great experience. The online patient registration meant that it took less than 30 seconds from walking in to being seated in my room. After that, very big thank you to Dr. Tam Trinh for his concise explanations, friendly demeanor, and painless experience. His associates were also just as friendly and efficient in making things move quickly. It really only took 35 minutes for arrival-consult-root canal-back in the car. They move efficiently and highly recommend their services.

I came to Renovo through a referral due to tooth pain. Within 15 minutes they correctly diagnosed me as needing a root canal AND scheduled me to come back the very next day to have the procedure done. Even better, the next day When I showed up they took me back immediately and the procedure took exactly 25 minutes, including waiting for the anesthetic to kick in. That night I enjoyed a wonderful dinner out for my wife's birthday with no pain or discomfort at all. I would not hesitate to go back to Renovo again.

Staff is extremely professional and nice. I am a scary patient and Dr Tam Trinh and his Assistant made me very comfortable and made me laugh. If you need a root canal this absolutely the place to go! They will take care of you. Thank everyone at Renovo!

I had a really bad experience with Renovo. They are very unprofessional and disrespectful of your time. I only came here because my dentist sent me to them, big mistake. The consult went great. The problem was getting the procedure done. I tried to be seen at the Elgin location for a root canal, I was supposed to be seen by Dr Cruz but every time he had some sort of emergency and my appointment was canceled three times. By the third cancellation I requested to be seen by a different dentist and I was told there were no other dentists available to see me. By this time it was too late for me to be seen somewhere else because the last appointment was scheduled for 12/27/21. I tried calling other endodontist offices but I was not able to get an appointment before the end of the year So not only I wasted 6+ weeks waiting to be seen, I also lost my 2021 dental coverage that was going to help me pay for 50% of the procedure. I would not recommend anyone to go here at all.
