Dr. Redlinger is an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon with a particular interest in wisdom teeth extraction and dental implants. He received his dental degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and his Medical degree from the University of Nebraska. He has published numerous articles on Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and enjoys participating in organized dentistry.
Dr. Redlinger was raised in Boulder City, Nevada but fell in love with Reno as a youth on his family's annual ski trip to Lake Tahoe. When time came to pick colleges it was a natural fit that he would go north and attend University of Nevada, Reno. He returned to Southern Nevada to complete dental school at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. After dental school Dr. Redlinger was off to the hearty Midwest where he completed medical school, internship in General Surgery, and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. University of Nebraska's program was the first dual degree OMFS program in the country.
After completing residency, Dr. Redlinger found himself drawn once again back to Reno and the Truckee Meadows. Dr. Redlinger enjoys practicing full scope Oral and Maxillofacial surgery from dentoalveolar to dental implant surgery.
When not in the office or operating room, Dr. Redlinger may be found searching out a favorite fishing hole, skiing on one of the many slopes of Tahoe, or attempting the game of golf. Scott is married to Teala Redlinger, who is a General Dentist working with families in Reno. They are raising four beautiful children, Orion, Atlas, Cheyenne and Levi.

My experience with Dr. Redlinger: My procedure consisted of bone grafts and 4 dental implants in my upper jaw. From the moment I entered the office, I was treated with compassion and total professionalism. DR. Redlinger and his staff explained the complete procedure, and we're very patient with me, I had lots of questions! The procedure from my perspective went perfectly. Of course there was swelling for a few days. I literally had zero pain, incredible! I am so grateful we have such a truly dedicated and incredibly knowledgeable Oral Surgeon in Reno. I can't thank Dr. Redlinger and his amazing staff enough.

I have not actually been to this office yet but they were professional and called to get me in sooner than scheduled when we got on the same page as to the pain I am in. A rocky start but I appreciate their quickness and professionalism

I was quite a bit nervous about the surgery I will be having but after the consultation I can tell I will be taken care of in the most professional manner everything was explained perfectly especially the part that I have to follow the advice and instructions to make the surgery a success

over 500 dollars per tooth to remove them? 6000 for twelve teeth these people should to be ashamed of themselves with such exstreemly high pricing.....we understand you only want wealthy people as customers This type of practice is a poster child for Socialized medicine I already Have the entire proceedure paid for and schedualed with a Dentist , you see when the Dentist office heard what your price was they were Sad and disgusted and worked very hard to get me taken care of, the Dentist obviously cared for my well being. While I didnt even feel confident in your doctor after meeting him, he seemed arogant and uncareing and then the price seemed almost like a attack on me.

The staff were fantastic and over the top helpful and friendly. Sandra did an excellent job of explaining everything that was going to take place in full detail. The Dr came in and we spoke for a few minutes and now have a plan in place for my next visit.
