Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Wonderful staff. Relaxing atmosphere. Got a root canal by Gabriel and it was the most gentle procedure I have ever had. Now I can say root canals are nothing to be afraid off or nervous about!

It's unfortunate that I will have to write a letter to the Board of Dentistry today about the unethical conduct of Dr. Joel Smith, who I was a new patient of today and had the displeasure of meeting. I showed for my new patient appointment, checked in and we completed xrays. The xray technician was very pleasant and helpful. I was placed in a dental chair in an empty exam room. Then a full hour later after sitting there, Joel came in. He didn't apologize and started making excuses "I'm the only one here, the last patient ran long, blah blah blah". I said it was unacceptable no one updated me about what was happening. They just put me in a room and left. Then he said maybe we wouldn't work together as doctor and patient. He was refusing to treat, and I wasn't upset by this because he'd already demonstrated that by being the only dentist in this office, the professional standard would be whatever he decides with no oversight. I told him what occurred was unprofessional and said that I wouldn't want him to be my doctor in any case but find it ironic he never apologized and is refusing treatment because of something he did. He concluded by saying, "We can walk you out and we'll refund your money or whatever," and I said, "Don't worry, I didn't pay anything and I guess you can say I got my money's worth. " This guy is unprofessional, unethical and unapologetic about it. If he'd learned time management skills, professionalism and ethics, a letter of censure certainly could have been avoided. I calmly explained to him my concerns and his attitude is flippant. Do not go here!

Made an appointment asked for time off drive to the office only to be told that the doctor cannot see me because I don't have some report ready. I asked why was I not informed when making the appointment, the front desk blame their call center for it, and said "you didn't speak with anyone in the office". I guess the call center put that phone number on their website! Rude staff, does not care about patients time. I would not recommend this place.

I came in as a ER visit for an impacted wisdom tooth. The staff from the get go was so nice. I waited maybe 5 mins when i was called back. The D.A. that took my x-rays was so helpful and gentle as I was in a lot of pain. They immediately took me back to a room where the nicest Dentist (Dr. Smith) came in. He listened and explained options and a treatment plan which included extracting my tooth. Dr. Smith spoke personally to the surgeon, Dr. Calder agreed to get me in that day without an appt.. I was so thankful and beyond grateful for the care they showed me. While I was waiting for the surgery Dr. Smith came in to check on me and saw I was in excruciating pain. He immediately got a syringe and numbed my mouth. I was so overwhelmed with relief, tears rolled down my face. Dr. Calder and Adel where so kind and attentive to me. I feel much better and cant thank everyone enough! You really cared when it matter the most to me. Thank you!!

As someone who was long overdue for dental work, I was extremely nervous about going to the dentist, but the staff at Reno Smiles quickly alleviated that anxiety. Dr. Wells seemed empathetic and non-judgmental, and he explained my treatment plan thoroughly to me at a level I could easily understand. The dental assistant, Jocelyn, was also very kind and friendly throughout the whole process. Overall, an awesome place to go!
