Dr. Owens grew up locally in Reno and attended Reno High School. She graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelors of Sciences and Honors. Before dental school, she did research for the Biochemistry Department at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Dr. Owens then graduated from the University of Washington with a Doctor of Dental Surgery. She has a passion for dentistry and has completed extensive continuing education courses on implants, dentures, cosmetic dentistry, pediatric dentistry and endodontics. Dr. Owens takes pride in her ability to listen and provide comprehensive, compassionate care that is mindful of the patient's needs. She is extremely meticulous in her approach to dentistry while finding the best course of action to restore to optimal dental health.
Sarah grew up in Reno and enjoys what the surrounding areas have to offer. She is currently a student at the University of Nevada, Reno studying Public Health. She is interested in pursing a career in dentistry. She enjoys playing tennis, walking her dog and learning about dentistry while working with Dr. Owens.
Aracely was born in Los Angeles, California, but has called Reno home since she was a little girl. She enjoys camping, watching movies and lives for her yearly trip to Disneyland. She loves spending time with her beautiful golden retriever, Luna. Aracely is an University of Nevada, Reno alumna, receiving her Bachelor's in Psychology in May of 2018. She has been with Dr. Owens since 2014 and loves it. Being fluent in English and Spanish, she enjoys helping all patients receive the beautiful and healthy smiles they each deserve.
Rande was born and raised in Reno. She graduated from Truckee Meadows Community College with an Associates in Science and Dental Hygiene in 2010. She worked under a local Periodontist her first year helping to develop her skills in treating periodontal disease and understanding the oral systemic health link. Since 2011 she has been with Reno Dental Care. Here she strives to provide thorough, yet gentle care and help her patients strive for the best oral health they can. she is very committed to staying up to date with current dental research through continuing education to further treat our wonderful patients. In her free time she enjoys relaxing and traveling with her husband Loren.
Claudia was born in Washington but was raised in Schurz, Nevada and now calls Reno home. She loves anything that involves adventure and coffee! A few of her favorite hobbies include running, hiking, and yoga, along with spending time with her friends and family. Claudia enjoys working with Dr. Owens and her team to bring a warm welcome to each patient and get to watch their dental journeys while working with your insurance to maximize your dental benefits.

Dr. Owens and her staff are the best!! They are conscientious, thorough, and kind. They take time with each patient, including explanation of potential problem areas and inclusion of patient in decision making. They were especially fabulous with my toddler for her 1st ever dental appointment- some tears going in, but all smiles when we left. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Dr Owens is the best. The whole staff in this place is an all-star team. I recommend them to everyone I know and wouldn't dream of going elsewhere. If you need a dentist, do yourself a favor and call these people. -update: They're still awesome. I moved an hour away and I gladly make the drive to keep this dentist. #worthit

She was nice, not pushy and i was not in pain during the cleaning procedure and also not in pain right after the cleaning unlike my last one, i was in pain for months after the cleaning due to my teeth became very sensitive. The only flaw is when after i informed her i have a bridge she didnt floss that area for thorough cleaning.

Few people look forward to going to the dentist. But I don't dread going to this dentist. Everyone is always extremely nice, patient and professional. I had composite fillings on two upper front teeth, and they look amazing. The office is spotless. All safety protocols are followed, so I'm confident I'm safe, especially these days.

All my previous experience at the dentist I did not like at all. This is the first time I actually went to the dentist and did not mind anything and felt comfortable. I really enjoyed the customer service and I loved the recommendations I got and the explanations to the issues I was having. Definitely would recommend this place if you dread going to see the dentist because they won't make you feel that way!

My Reno Dental Care experience thus far coming from Dr. Owens and staff has been excellent par none. They are so friendly and accommodating, their work ethic and practice is outstanding. I could not ask for a better dentist. I say kudos to Reno Dental Care. Very highly recommended!
