Dr. Renis Kapshtica was born in Tirana, Albania in October of 1976. He moved to the US in 1993 to attend high school. He graduated from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School in Princeton Junction, NJ in 1995 ( Sumna Cum Laude). He graduated with a BS degree in Biology from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida in 1998 (Sumna Cum Laude). Dr.Kapshtica was raised in a family of physicians.His grandfather Dr. Reshat Kapshtica graduated from University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 1933 and from University of Paris Sorbonne School of Medicine in 1939. He practiced as a surgeon in Albania. His father Dr. Rudi Kapshtica was an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in Albania where he practiced for 42 years.
In 2003 Dr. Renis Kapshtica graduated with a DDS degree from Baltimore College of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland at Baltimore.Hecontinued his studies at BSDS where hecompleted a 2-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency and was awarded the Harry DresselAward for Clinical Excellence in General Dentistry in 2005. Dr Renis Kapshticaholds a Fellowship Award from Academy of General Dentistry and Mastership Award from International Congress of Oral Impantologist. He has completed the Implant Dentistry Training in Washington D.C in 2014. He has been living andpracticing in downtown Washington D.C since 2004.
I was born and raised in Bulgaria, Eastern Europe. I came to the United States in 2011 and I decided to pursue a degree in a Social Science field. In 2013 I had the pleasure to begin my career in the dental field. I have experienced working both in the back and the front of a dental office. I joined Dr. Kapshtica' s office in the beginning of 2016. I am very happy to be on his team and to provide an exceptional patient care. I also enjoy the never-ending learning adventure and career opportunity. I always greet our patients with a smile and I try to make sure that our office runs smoothly and efficiently with the patient care being of the utmost importance. In my spare time I like to read inspirational novels, write poems, and work out.
I am originally form Bulgaria and have been living in Washington DC area for the past 20 years. I graduated Dental Hygiene School at Howard University in 2004, and have been practicing in Washington DC ever since. I started working with Dr Kapshtica at the beginning of 2016 and I feel very lucky and privileged to be a part of his team. In my spare time I enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with my family.

Literally one of the best dental experiences myself and family have ever experienced. No other providers would see our son and a emergency case scenario, But he did. Every single aspect of the care was five star. But the best aspect was Dr. Renis's knowledge of our sons scenario and what exactly he needed. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. You don't need to look any further this needs to be your primary dentist for majority of your dental needs.

Dr. Renis is hands down the best dentist I have had. Other dentists I have had in the past were clumsy, pressured me into unnecessary treatments and procedures, and just overall not as skilled as Dr. Renis. He really knows his trade and I feel 100% confident in his professional judgment. I have recommended him to a friend and she also had nothing but glowing things to say about him and his practice. If you're looking for a dentist in the DC area, go with Dr. Renis.
