Dr. Stroud is a graduate of Waltonville High School, Rend Lake College, Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Southern Illinois Dental Society, American Association of Implant Dentists, the GROWS implant study club, the American Association of Women Dentists, and the Benton/West City Area Chamber of Commerce.
'My biggest reasons for starting my own practice were my staff and my patients. Starting my own practice would not have been so successful without Gods guidance. I found an awful looking building that luckily (God) the owners were willing to completely rehab it for a dental practice. Everything was refinished. I picked every tiny aspect of it and designed it with patient and staff ease and comfort in mind. Im really proud of it now and the journey has been great.'
She enjoys making her patients and staff feel like they are part of our family. Dentistry is stressful for everyone involved so we try to make it less stressful with different types of music and a family type atmosphere.
' I personally love all varieties of music. I have four sons that are 4 months, 6,7 and 8. I was made to be a boy mom but Id love to have a girl in the future. I enjoy exercise, owning my own business, and doing continuing education. I am addicted to challenges, learning, and goals.'
Dr. Schneider believes in continuing education and commitment to patient service. She strives to continue her professional development by staying on top of innovative developments in all fields of dentistry. With over 20 years of professional dental experience and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from University of Illinois at Chicago and Kaunas Medical Academy (Lithuania), and one year of Dental Implant Fellowship training from New York University, Dr. Schneider has expertise on all manner of dental procedures ranging from tooth-colored fillings and veneers to implants, bone grafts and other complex dental procedures.
Dr. Schneider is also committed to engaging in her community (both professionally and personally) through volunteering with CDS Foundation Dental Clinic, Mission of Mercy and the Lithuanian Community at large. She has previously held the position of President and Board Member of the Chicago Component of the Illinois Academy of General Dentistry as well as active member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, American Academy of General Dentistry, and the International Congress of Oral Implantogy.

They first dint warranty their work they will try and charge you twice for their poor quality beware before going to them I spent well over 5000 for repairs and I was told I would need to pay again I think NOT .... With the review that was left below shows you that I was going to be charged again to charge someone again be it 17 months ago or days ago charging someone again is wrong your receptionist had a severe attitude towards me and texting personal information on your hyginest being out because her son is in the icu over text and when i called your office so if you would like to make this right I will be more than happy to leave a positive response but how I have been treated by your staff is unprofessional telling personal info on your staff is also unprofessional and if they knew your staff is telling your patients why a reschedule may be needed all I can say we can handle this in a professional manner I will be willing to talk

The best dental office in southern Illinois. Dr. Stroud is experienced is all areas of dental medicine and is the best at Botox and filler. I recommend Dr. Stroud and her friendly staff to anyone in the Southern Illinois area!

Worst service owe more now than when I started going there half way done and I was dropped. Took all my insurance money plus what I paid stuck in horrible condition. Don't take your dog there. She has NO clue what she's doing especially to people life to smile. I give -10in service.

Amazing! They have thought of everything. TV's to watch while in your chair, video games for kids to play in the waiting room, kid friendly movie/shows in the waiting area, and an amazingly friendly staff, hygienists, and dentists.

Amazing staff!! Dr Stroud was so patient and understanding. Extraction were done with great ease. Denture are even better than I expected. I would highly recommend this dental practice to all ages. I finally have my smile back. THANK YOU!!

My husband Keith (who is blind) is having extensive dental work done. All of the staff and employees at RLD have been wonderful, but Ruth has gone above and beyond. Ruth could be used as an example of how to treat a patient who is blind or visually impaired! Thank you, Ruth and RLD!
