Graduating from the IU School of Dentistry in 1988, Scott set up shop in his home town of Columbus, and has been here serving the community ever since. With 32 years of experience under his belt, Scott is committed to providing the best service Columbus has to offer. Scott is also a part time faculty member at the SPEAR institute in Scottsdale, AZ where he teaches CEREC digital dentistry, oral surgery, and implant dentistry.
After graduating from Purdue and transferring to IU school of dentistry, where she graduated from in 2017, Bria began working with Dr. Barrix to provide a wide spectrum of dental care. Bria understands the impact a healthy smile can have on your personal and professional life. For that reason Bria is dedicated to being up to date on the latest in dentistry.
Born and raised in Greensburg, where she still lives, Sara attended IU School of Dentistry to pursue becoming a dental hygienist. Graduating in 2013 from IU and spends her time dedicated to her craft as she enjoys taking courses outside the office to remain the expert on dental hygiene.
As a licensed hygienist with a history of working with Dr. Barrix since 2003, Christie is our most experienced hygienist. There is little she hasn't seen and even less she doesn't know. Christie prides herself on excellent work and making personal connections with all her patients.
Beginning her dental education in high school, Alyssa attended the C4 vocational school for dental assisting in Columbus. Alyssa began to further her dental education post high school at the international business college, where she graduated with honors and an associates in Expanded Functions Dental Assisting. As well as being named student of the term and winning the presidents list. Alyssa is also certified in coronal polishing and fluoride application.
I began my dental education in high school, attended C4 classes. I graduated from ivy tech on 2010 as a Dental assistant. I earned my EFDA certificate in 2019. I am also certified in coronal polishing and I am fluent in Spanish.
Dedicated to dentistry. Amanda joined the team in 2003 and has been here ever since. Shortly after joining the team Amanda earned her certificate from the IU dental school in Expanded Functions Dental Assisting. Amanda has more hours in continuous education than any other EFDA and is dedicated to staying up-to-date on the latest advances in dental technology.
Dana has been working with Dr. Barrix since 2003, making sure every patient is looked after properly. As the secret boss, nothing gets past Dana. Her hard work and dedication to customer service create an exceptional experience for all patients at RDG.
Bethany has been working with Dr. Barrix since 2017 and has loved learning about dentistry through her experience in the office. As the first line of defense, Bethany is always available to answer whatever questions or concerns you may have about the office or dentistry. Providing exceptional customer service is Bethany's passion, and never leaves a patient not smiling.

Dr. Barrix was very professional, friendly and kind. My daughter was very nervous about having to get wisdom teeth removed, but Dr. Barrix took his time with her and explained why it needed done and the process. He made us feel much better about the procedure. I highly recommend.

My family and I have been patients of Dr Barrix long before Renaissance Dental. He and his staff are professional and friendly. He's stayed up to date in procedures and technology and as a result treatment is essentially pain free. Choosing Dr Barrix as our dentist was a great decision.

The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Bria Scott DDS and Sarah cleans my teeth they do an excellent job and taking care and maintaining your teeth how you prefer them to be taken care of. Highly recommend renaissance dental group. Everyone very friendly and willing to help me five stars Your teeth will appreciate it they feel so much better

Absolutely fantastic treatment here. Just had a crown and a filling all done in less than under 2 hrs. Totally different experience to my previous dentist. Dr Scott and her team are wonderful. So glad I had an emergency a couple of months back and discovered this place!

I love Renaissance Dental! The customer service is great; the ladies at the front desk are very consistent with appointment reminders and sometimes call when they have an earlier opening for an appointment. I had my teeth cleaned by Sarah today. She was super informative on the state of my teeth and what I can do at home to improve their health. Dr. Bria Scott is the best dentist I have ever had, hands down!!

I was with the same dentist for 30 years. After he retired Dr Scott Barrix is the 4th dentist I have tried. Problems with each of the 3 prior to him. He is the best dentist I have ever had! His work is precise and his chair side manner is excellent. He is very perceptive of your needs and I highly recommend him!
