What is the typical cost of braces? Pricing for braces ranges based on the type of braces used, the treatment time and the level of the complexity. Here at Remarkable Smiles Orthodontics we offer different types of treatments and payment plan options to help meet almost every budget. The real cost of braces is the time invested to achieve an ideal smile. Braces are not that costly when compared to other treatments, such as veneers and implants.
What is the cost for invisible braces? For invisible braces there are different options. In order of most expensive to less expensive invisible braces is as follows: Harmony (lingual braces), Invisalign (clear removable aligners) and ceramic/clear brackets. The most esthetic or invisible of the above choices is Harmony but it also more costly compared to Invisalign or clear brackets.
How much is the cost for Invisalign? The cost for Invisalign varies depending on the length of treatment and complexity of the case. It is similar to the fee of orthodontic treatment with clear/ceramic braces.
What does insurance pay in typical orthodontic coverage? Please call our office at 949-770-8011 and we will be more than happy to call your insurance company for your benefits and find out exactly what your current plan covers. Orthodontic coverage varies from insurance company to insurance company.
Is lingual braces more costly than standard braces? Yes, lingual braces cost more than other type of braces. The reason lingual braces are more expensive is because it is placed behind the teeth which makes the process of the treatment more challenging and complex than standard braces.
Do braces hurt? After an initial adjustment is done a patients teeth may become sore for about two days. You might experience discomfort when eating. However, with modern orthodontics, much smaller forces are used so you will experience much less discomfort throughout your treatment. With all the different treatment options discussed for patients with sensitive mouth, Invisalign is the most comfortable option.
What are the major differences between ceramic vs. metal braces? From a results standpoint, ceramic and metal braces are almost the same. The primary advantage of ceramic braces is that they are less visible.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of ceramic braces? The advantage of ceramic braces is that they are less visible, therefore more esthetic. There are really no cons other than they are more visible compared to Invisalign and lingual braces
Do lingual braces hurt more? It may take a little longer to get comfortable with them compared to standard braces, but it doesnt hurt any more than traditional braces. However, since it is close to your tongue it does take a little longer to get used to.
How do I carefully remove food stuck in my braces? The most effective way to remove the food is first to floss, and then use an interproximal brush and a toothbrush. Once your braces are placed, the team at Remarkable Smiles Orthodontics will provide specific instructions to you on how to take care of your braces. And of course, throughout your treatment we will always be here to answer any questions you may have.
Is jaw surgery typical with orthodontics? No, it is especially rare with early treatment, called Phase One. Plus, there are many new technological advances in field of orthodontics, which allows for successful treatment of cases that were previously only able to be treated in conjunction with jaw surgery.
What is the cost for getting braces? Depending on the type of braces used and the treatment time required, the cost varies. The fees include everything required to get a beautiful smile and to keep it.
How often do I have to go for my dental cleaning during my orthodontic treatment? Please do not forget to maintain your good oral hygiene. Visit your dentist every 3-4 months for regular check-ups and cleanings, while in orthodontic treatment.

Over the years I had such low confidence of how my teeth looked but when I met Dr. Rasdhidi he gave me the faith to trust him. Look at me Him. Dr. Mark Rashidi and his staff are absolutely wonderful. We have been going to Remarkable Smiles for almost two years now and so far it's been nothing but a great experience not only for me as a parent but also for my son as his patient. It's not often you go to a Dentist/Orthodontist and only have positive experience but here at Remarkable Smiles we truly just had that... a remarkable experience. Dr. Rashidi is very compassionate, honest and energetic. Even on days that our appointment was at the end of the day, you'd not see any less smile or positive interaction from him. This is from my daughter Laila: Our doctor Dr. Rashidi is very nice, when I need help he's always there to help me, encourage me, support me, make me feel comfortable and not worried! Just like what he did today on a SUNDAY, When I got popcorn in my braces I couldn't open my mouth and he came into the office immediately to help me! He is the best caring doctor i could ever have! When he had to take my appliance out of my mouth he said 1,2,3 and it was done. He makes all of my appointments so easy for me and my mom! My mom always talks about how much she's grateful to have a doctor like Dr. Rashidi! My appointments are quick and fun! He knows how to calm me down even when I feel nervous, he would also say I'm doing such a good job!

My orthodontist is the best one I'm sure of it. And I've had 2 other ones prior to him. I had so many problems with my last ones but this one is gold. I'm beyond happy with his work and how fast my teeth are coming down and how hard he is trying to make my smile perfect :)

Dr. Rashidi is a fabulous orthodontist! And the entirety of his office staff are wonderful people and wonderful at their jobs! I first began seeing Dr. Rashidi at the age of 17. I had noticed my teeth loosening in my mouth and was concerned. My dentist informed my that in some areas of my bite, my teeth were putting way too much pressure on other teeth and if I did not receive treatment, I would lose all my teeth by the time I was 40 years old. Luckily, we found ReMarkable Smiles Orthodontics and I was able to receive Invisalign treatment! I still remember when all of my teeth finally were touching each other when I bit down! I am now much more confident in my smile... I have and will recommend his care to anyone!

Dr. Mark is an incredible orthodontist! When I first came in my teeth were spaced out and I had to have a few extractions. After about three years of having braces Dr. Mark managed to close all of the spaces using some very technical techniques like using my wisdom teeth to take the place of my molars and things of that sort. Needless to say, my teeth are nothing less than remarkable after being in his care. I enjoyed every visit and he truly cares about the well-being of his patients. 10/10 recommend!

I was probably Dr. Rashidi's most difficult patient. Wearing braces after a certain age is just not fun and I did my share of complaining. Dr. Rashidi is incredibly professional, patient and always upbeat! He is not your average Orthodontist. He's a perfectionist who really knows his craft. Thanks to him and his staff, I now get compliments on my smile almost every time I leave the house.
